Fine. If you say it does, it does. For you, that is. Other can and do hold differing opinions. And there isn't a whole lot one can do about it. So let's just leave it at that, please.

That's a good idea, just respect one anothers opinions. You like whatever ship you want to like we like whatever ship we like ;D

You know what, you guys? If you don't like shipping, then thats fine. Just please don't say things like that. It brings our (or my) hopes down a whole lot. Honestly, could you just ship what you want to ship, and if you don't ship something, keep it to yourself? Sorry, temper tantrum. But I'm serious though. This is getting on my last nerve. *turns into the Incredible Hulk pink-version* One of the reasons this massive "evidence" phenominon gets on "us guys'" nerves I think is because it goes beyond a "tee hee, I ship this and you ship that squee!" mindset. Too often that "evidence" is taken as a means to prove a ship as canon, thus blocking out anyone else's point of view, be it an oposing ship or someone who *gasp* doesn't ship oh no! "Proof" that so and so's ship is canon has been plastered everywhere, and thus is beginning to get mildly obnoxious. Fine. If you say it does, it does. For you, that is. Other can and do hold differing opinions. And there isn't a whole lot one can do about it. So let's just leave it at that, please. Yes, thank you. And I believe that the people who DON'T see romance everywhere you turn should be allowed to express that opinion as well. ~Regan

@regan
Of course! I may have not spelled it out but it was implicit in my post.

I'm not about to try and bash shippers (especially not here - it would be suicide!) but sometimes... well, OK, I'll be brave and say 75% of the time, shippers are crazed fluff machines. Did two characters that they think look cute together say something to each other? BAM. Suddenly, that means that couple is madly in love. I've been in my early-mid teens before, I've done the couple shipping (for anime, though) and I've done the whole Fanfiction.net thing, I've spent hours rewinding through episodes and methodically marking down possible romantic evidence (OK, that one is a tad creepy)... but I NEVER shipped a couple that wasn't canon. That just... annoys me. But as people have said, that's a personal opinion.

I agree. There wasn't any romance in ZERO. But, if you must say there is 1/5, 362/60, 2/86, etc, then I said there was 1/86. Numbuh 86 bragging to Nmbuh 1 about her position was so totally cute flirting and therfore, a proof of romance. It's all in the eye of the beholder, I guess.

Its just a cartoon that we like to use our creativity with. No need to be rude about it. For goodness sake, we're not trying to have a competition. Wer'e having fun. You don't turn it into a battlefield. Regan is not judging people negatively. She's not even judging anyone. She's just saying that the whole "evidence of couple proof" thing is getting on her nerves, and frankly, it's getting on mine too. The fact is, you're taking this wayy too personally. The topic was, "ZERO ROMANCE". It's not a matter of "your shipping". The cold hard truth is, there was no romance other than 3/4. We're just saying that every little touch or bit of conversation between two characters can't be considered "proof", and that the fact that it is is getting on our nerves. Yeah, when exactly did this thread become another ship arguement? (When it most certainly didn't have to T_T)

As much as I agree, aren't crazy fangirls something EVERY fan has to deal with at some point or another? I'm kind of surprised that people are still annoyed by it. I just try to ignore the shippers I don't appreciate. (I'll stop the off-topic posts now, I just find this argument interesting)

We state our opinions as kindly as we can, and you turn it into either a negative thing or you, specific quote from phantomfox, call us "Crazed Fluff Machines?" What is this? And what are we? Are we freaks to you? No way. I've had my fun with couple shipping. But in my opinion (and obviously, some people have similar feelings) it is frustrating to see fans trying SO hard to dredge up evidence for couples when there really isn't any. This is where the line is, because for some people, more than five seconds of eye-contact is considered romantic proof, where others would disagree.

Now that I saw when I first watched the movie, I was like that's odd why was 86 rubbing it in Number 1 face? Also don't forget 362 is it? {She's the blond girl who is leader of the place} Her comments to Nigle in the end were very touching

Okay. Okay. Wow. I knew this would happen. Two characters in ZERO would look at each other, and that meant that they were in love. But, no, it doesn't mean that. Not every character interaction is "proof" that your couple-of-choice is omgtotallycanonnowSQUEEEEE. Ship what you like, but I'm sick of people turning every little thing into couple proof. I'm a 2/5 shipper. At the end, Hoagie and Abby held hands. Romance? No. They were getting off a building together. I'd help my friends down. That's the decent thing to do. They're friends. Am I letting this 2 second interval go to my head? Am I "letting myself dream"? No. Because that's not realistic. It was a moment of friendship - it didn't mean anything romantic.
And goldenflither, I understand that you like romance. It's obvious. I don't see, however, why every little thing has to be romantic proof. It's not. I understand you're "having fun", but you're warping canon to suit your needs. Bottom line: it's annoying.
