I figured that the 1/5 fans would hate Lizzie.
As for me, I used to dislike Lizzie. But now I've warmed up to her. And I like the couple.

Hate is a strong word to use. I surely do not hate her- dislike some of her actions, yes. Dislike how her character is portrayed for the sake of comedic conflict/scenerios, yes. Hate, no.
Even if I wasn't a 1/5 shipper, I wouldn't be too fond of Lizzie anyway- her two-faced actions just turn me off.

eh...Lizzie can be annoying. I really don't like annoying people. They just...annoy me. It's not like my all time favorite couple or anything but who would Nigel be with if Lizzie wasn't there?

I don't support this couple but its not like I hate it. Fact, I don't even like Nigel. So I don't like Lizzie and I don't like Nigel. Therefor I don't like this couple. 'nough said.
It's not like I can change it either. For as long as they are ten and as long as there is mind rotting telelvision and as long as there is Kids Next Door Nigel and Lizzie will always be girlfriend and boyfriend.

I don't like this pairing, I feel Nigle deserves better. I was starting to like Lizzie but now I'm starting to dislike her all over again, she insulted Nigle in one of the reccent episodes. And has lied to him loads of times like one of the users here said. I just don't like Lizzie at all now. In Operation: Pool I was starting to like her but now =[

I'm not a Nigel and Lizzie fan... he should have someone else! she is soo annoying and sometimes kinda mean... but that's what I think!!

but in fact, wehn I saw LIZZIe, I though -OMG! Nigel has a girlfriend?! I though just teenagers has girlfriends- but what can I say? I mean, they're kids, and that love (Lizzie/Nigel) will be just that -kids' love- no more, that realtionship, I think won't be permanent

Thos couple isn't really my favorite.. but it's not so bad. I don't like Numbuh 1 all that much (I don't hate him. I just don't love him.) And I think Lizzie can be funny sometimes, but she's not really my favorite either. So since I'm not a ginormous fan of either of them, it's pretty much OK to me that their together. ^^

Sector V risks their lives for each other nearly every mission they go on. Numbuh Five risked her life just to get Numbuh One a birthday present. If they are together for a while, I don't it's for that reason. The break-up factor in this couple is pretty high, believe it or not. The relationship was official very early on in the show, and they've already get several episodes dedicated to the couple. An intriguing chance of pace/plot twist would be a 1/Lizzie break-up. If they do break up on the show, I wouldn't be surprised at all. And then there's the basic knowledge everyone knows- even if they don't break up on the show, they WOULD, eventually, drift apart. After all, they ARE only kids. As of late I've been expressing my dislike for the couple, a major reason being the LEADER episode. Not only did Lizzie flirt with another man to get her way, she 'promised' Nigel that she wouldn't play leader again- only to go around and do it again without hesitation. She also promised she wouldn't use a boyfriend helmet- she could jsut as easily break that promise. I just don't see trust there. And a quote I recently read in a lovely book called Temping Fate (by Esther Friesner) describes what could happen when there's a lack of trust; "If I can't trust you, I don't want you. We're through." - Dyllin Newhouse to her fiance. Another reason I don't like this couple is precisely that- it's 'obvious'. I'm more for the subtle stuff myself, though the KND show isn't exactly the place to look for that, because they're pretty much INYOURFACE about couples. You took the words right out of my mouth. It's all about trust, and I completely, totally agree with you 100%. |
