Lizzie and Nigel?

I probally don't think Lizzie and Nigel were meant to be.
Just in my opinion. Nigel probally thinks Lizzie is just a good friend while she thinks he more than a friend.

Lot of proff reveals this.

I like this couple. I think it's really cute, and I don't think they should break up for awhile.

When KND first started I thought that eventually they were going to break up. I just didn't think they seemed particularly close. However, in later episodes I saw closer interactions between them and now I don't think they will break up. 1/Lizzie isn't one of my very favourite couples, but I'm not against it either. I think it's quite funny and I usually enjoy watching them together.

I really like 1/Lizzie. They obviously like one another, even though the relationship has its down moments. I think they're cute.

Sector V risks their lives for each other nearly every mission they go on. Numbuh Five risked her life just to get Numbuh One a birthday present. If they are together for a while, I don't it's for that reason.

The break-up factor in this couple is pretty high, believe it or not. The relationship was official very early on in the show, and they've already get several episodes dedicated to the couple. An intriguing chance of pace/plot twist would be a 1/Lizzie break-up. If they do break up on the show, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

And then there's the basic knowledge everyone knows- even if they don't break up on the show, they WOULD, eventually, drift apart. After all, they ARE only kids.

As of late I've been expressing my dislike for the couple, a major reason being the LEADER episode. Not only did Lizzie flirt with another man to get her way, she 'promised' Nigel that she wouldn't play leader again- only to go around and do it again without hesitation. She also promised she wouldn't use a boyfriend helmet- she could jsut as easily break that promise.

I just don't see trust there. And a quote I recently read in a lovely book called Temping Fate (by Esther Friesner) describes what could happen when there's a lack of trust;

"If I can't trust you, I don't want you. We're through." - Dyllin Newhouse to her fiance.

Another reason I don't like this couple is precisely that- it's 'obvious'. I'm more for the subtle stuff myself, though the KND show isn't exactly the place to look for that, because they're pretty much INYOURFACE about couples.

I'm okay with the couple. It's, on occasion, hillarious and there are a few quite nice moments in POOL.

I think that an on-show break up has a small but non-negligible probability. If you'd take a look at any Mr. W Q&A every question regarding a different Numbuh 1 pairing has been met with a mild negative of some sort.

If I was swayed by bias that much, I'd dislike 2/5 as well, wouldn't I?

No, my struggle with this couple derives from Lizzie's actions (because, apparently, they do speak louder than her words) and the fact I can't relate to it at all. They try to make it funny and cute and throw it in the audience's face almost as much as 3/4- but it doesn't do a thing for me.

At first I hated 1/Lizzie (mostly cuz I hated Lizzie), but as I started to like her more, I warmed up to the couple. That being said, I have absolutely no qualms contriving a means for them to break up if I feel like inserting another couple involving either character. Why? Cuz I'm evil. ^__^

yeah, I though the same when I read 'BREAK-UP' and I think, in Op GIRLFRIEND, Lizzie must be there, the 'L' could be for Lizzie, and I really don't like this couple -.-
