I read that fic before, and I remember the author. She used to make the characters from the show inappropiate, esp. One and Five.

I agree with that. I still remember another fic she did featuring "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake. When I got to the climax, it was just sickening. Ew.

Ugh, just thinking about that story makes me wanna throw up....

I never had a nightmare about it, but I had serious trouble getting to sleep the day I read it...

Seriously, that gal would phrase things in ways that totally distorted the message. I should've saved some of the E-Mails she sent me.

I once pointed out how Kuki's statement during the story's courtroom sequence totally contradicted what actually happened. How did the author respond? By saying "The reason it's wrong is because a lot of time passed between the beginning, middle, and end of the rape."

To be fair, the was no actual "rape scene." The story was more about the aftermath of it. That being said though, the subject matter was the LEAST of that story's problems. Everyone was OOC, logic was defied on a regular basis, (SPOILERS) the rapist turned out to be one of the Delightful Children, and the author was one of those who wrote it so that only Wally really gave a rat's bodkins about the whole affair.

Not to mention the courtroom sequence, written by someone who apparently doesn't understand how the legal system works. Seriously... she had the defense attorney asking Wally if he was in love with Kuki. Problem is that, considering the circumstances, the question was totally irrelevent, and thus would've been objected to on the grounds of lack of relevance (the objection would've probably been sustained too).

Why would the KND go to trial anyway? These are the same kids who have no problem breaking into other people's homes with high-tech weapons and kicking butt--a fact that seems to be completely overlooked in almost every fanfic out there.

Fanfiction.net is a disgrace to the show.

In one of James' statements, some authors support a shipping almost TOO much and will go great lengths to make their shipping grow. Even for 1/5, most for 3/4.

There was this one fic, "Miracles Happen", where the author (it's a different one), that kinda sickened me out. It paired two portly characters from the show---Hoagie and Lizzie. Just because they're fat doesn't mean that they're the "perfect match". Numbuh Two doesn't even LIKE Lizzie, for starters.

I just read some of RAPED. The poor, poor canon. None of the Delightful Children would rape someone, even if they were older. It's not their style.

In all honesty, I could imagine the male DCs trying to. The question is whether or not they would SUCCEED, especially if they, like in that fanfic, chose Kuki as their target.

THAT'S the part I found unbelievable. I mean, really... even early on, it's established in canon that even Kuki could beat up all five DCs unless they had any sort of support or backup. Course, RAPED handles this by making Kuki dumb enough to accept a drink from masked figures (which I guess is kinda-sorta understandible in season one characterizations, but even Kuki should be smarter than that. Especially since the fic aged her so she's thirteen).

And have you seen Operation SIN? It's the same sort of thing, only with Numbuh Four.

I don't know if I've seen that. I did however see this other really bad one, in which Numbuh Five had been raped by Numbuhs Two and Four, and later Numbuh Two killed her to stop her from telling anyone. The rest of the 'fic had Numbuhs One and Three trying to find evidence to put Hoagie in jail.

And yea, I could MiST it, though the author probably wouldn't let me post it if I did. Anyway, Best-Worst is longer and I AM MiSTing that.

The Jesus thing was probably a bit of a plot convenience on the author's part. Just wait until you get to the part about the Patron Saints...

Operation SIN had Numbuh Four as the victim. Chad was eventually revealed as the rapist.
