Ahh, good old wedding times, much as the same as Nintendomaximus's. Expecting the colored version of this one, and I'm not expecting to know about the whole squid or octopus skirt again. X)

Loosely inspired by Lilly's scene, I decided to do something of my own. Enjoy everyone!
Nigel felt guilty to interrupt her slumber, clearly she had spent all night monitoring the recent crisis, eventually falling asleep in her chair. If Numbuh Eighty-Six had noticed, she didn’t let on, perhaps out of respect for her friendship with the blonde. She also ignored Nigel’s approach to the middle of the command center—their eyes briefly met, but perhaps even the unsinkable Fanny Fulbright no longer had the strength to argue after such a long night.
Coming closer to “the big chair,” as he liked to think of it, he found something endearing about the way Numbuh Three Sixty-Two slept, her head tilted to the side, as though at one point she had been trying to feign attention before losing the battle against her heavy eyelids. She did not snore, but he could see the comforting rhythm of her chest slowly rising and falling with her breath. Her golden hair tresses fell about her face, masking it somewhat. Taking a quick glance around to make sure no one could see, the bald boy set a warm mug of hot chocolate in the cup holder adjacent to her chair. Hesitantly, he brushed some errant strands of hair from her face, allowing their length to slowly sift through his fingers. He pushed them to back of her head, noticing that they felt thick, matted with sweat, mostly likely accumulated from vigorous pacing the night before, trying to communicate with too many sectors simultaneously. Her tresses curled around her ears and neck, giving her a somewhat groomed appearance.
Anxiously, Nigel ruffled the papers in his hand, hoping the noise might rouse her. It didn’t help. Sighing slightly, he leaned in and gripped the girl’s shoulders, shaking her gently, watching her hair bounce, her bangs falling into her eyes only moments before she began to stir. “I’m awake, Fanny, I’m awake.” Rachel yawned loudly, her arms instinctively rising over her head to stretch her stiff muscles. She could taste her breath, and her muscles protested at the position she had slept in.
“Guess again.” Nigel laughed, releasing her.
Rachel’s eyes floated open, protesting at the crispness that had settled at the edges of her eyelids, and she instinctively rubbed them to help clear her vision. “Numbuh One?” She half groaned, making an attempt to sit up.
“Someone stayed up past their bed time.” He chuckled.
“Things have a tendency of coming up.” Rachel defended.
“So I’ve noticed. Last night you called asking me for all the information my Sector had on teenager movements. It took Numbuh Two and Numbuh Five some time to compile everything up-to-date, but here it is. I’ve also taken the liberty of getting you something to drink.” Nigel gestured to the cup with the report in his hands.
“I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself.” Rachel stood up, stretching again. “And you could’ve left the reports with Numbuh Eighty-Six.”
“Yes, I thought she seemed a bit out of it herself. I mean, she didn’t even take the time to insult me when I came in. Nor did she stop me from waking you.”
“Or reanimating, as the case may be.” Rachel smiled. “Sorry, we’re all kind of running a sleep deficit up here. We won’t be able to rest properly until we can find the pattern to their movements. I’ve made mistakes before by ignoring them when things became suspicious. I won’t get fooled again.”
“Which is all the more reason for you to rest. I could take over for a few hours.”
“I’ll be fine, Nigel.”
“No, you won’t. And pushing yourself to function when you can barely keep your eyes open isn’t going to help matters any. Get some rest. I’ll call Numbuh Five up here to help me.”
“Nigel, running Global Command isn’t just sitting in a chair and giving orders, you know.”
“I know. I don’t pretend to want your job. What sane kid would? I’m just offering to fill your shoes so you can sleep.”
“You really think you can do it, don’t you?” Rachel drew herself up to her full height, pursing her lips thoughtfully.
“Don’t you?” Nigel asked expectantly, meeting her gaze, which he quickly realized was measuring him. Her foot began to tap as she contemplated his idea.
“You’re really serious about this, aren’t you?” Rachel asked expectantly.
“I consider it my duty to get you into bed for a few hours.” Nigel stood rigidly, saluting her. Rachel crossed her arms over her chest, tilting her head to the side and cocking an eyebrow. “Er, that probably could have been worded…a bit better…”
“You are such a boy.” The blonde girl shook her head, acquiescing. “Fine, do what you want. I wouldn’t mind getting a few hours in the sack. Alone, if that’s all right with you.”
Nigel gulped. “Per-perfectly, sir.”
“Good. Then you’re in charge. I’ll let you give Numbuh Eighty-Six the good news. And don’t move my chair!” Rachel poked him in the chest playfully. “I like it just the way it is.
“Understood.” Nigel let his salute, fall, and he breathed a sigh of relief as she turned away, wondering if he would ever live this moment down.
“Oh, and Nigel?”
“Yes?”
“You’ll have to work harder on your pickup lines if you expect to get anywhere with me. Good night.” She giggled to herself as she exited the command center, wondering just how much she had been able to unnerve him. Putting him on the spot like this after his considerate gesture was probably banking some bad karma on her part, but it was worth it to see the reaction on his face, especially after Fanny started tearing into him. Sometimes, it was good to be the Supreme Commander.

I loved it, Lord M! It was written very well, and I thought it was sweet. ^^ A job well-done. @1x362 wedding kiss Thanks, Leet! Meh... not really a fan of NM, but at least Rachel's dress came out better than Fanny's did in my opinion. Perhaps I will color it, you never know!

Lol, I bet Numbuh 86 beat the crap outta him. XD But then.. Rachel could comfort him and wrap banages on him, also rub some medicine on his cuts and sores once she's done with her nap. lol.

Thanks everyone! I just kind of tossed that off last night, I personally felt that it was lacking in a few places, but I really didn't have time to develop it properly, so, it is what it is. Hopefully the next time I do one, it will be even better.

Plus I've started a new fic, too. ^_^ Here's the start, but I'll write more later. And you're very welcome, Lord M! 'Cause you rock! Rachel stared out her window of her bedroom, feeling a heavy stress of work, or depressed as they called it. But luckily she was almost through with the Kids Next Door paperwork, and it was a quiet, boring summer afternoon on a Friday. So, without any hesitation at all, she twisted the cap onto her ink pen, putting it down on her desk. Scrambling up her paperwork that Numbuh 65.3 sent her, she had one thing on her mind lately. Nigel Uno, aka Numbuh 1 that was her top operative. Also the son of the legendary Numbuh Zero. And in yet… she had a thing for Nigel, but she kept it only a secret towards Numbuhs 86 and 60. Neither of them said a word. She had deep loving feelings for him, which she wanted to admit to him, but she was unsure if he felt the same way… “Mother,” Rachel said heading towards the front door to walk outside. “I’ll be going out for a while.” She heard the dishes clink from the kitchen, assuming that her mother was washing the dishes in the sink. “Alright dear,” she heard her mother’s voice break from humming a sweet tune. “Have fun!” Rachel nodded and headed out the door, and then headed towards the direction of the town park. That's what I have so far. Expect to have more typed soon.

No problem, oh, that's a fiction. Sorry that I did not notice that, right now I'm too busy with college. Someday I'll read the whole thing or maybe if you could compile all into one Word file and submit it to FanFiction.net .
