It does seem easier but it would be easier just asking people straight up their gender. And sometimes you can tell by their username or their real name

And if they dont' have a gender thing, assume they're female.
We do that at RBSU, since the place is overwhelmingly female. Guys started putting their gender signs up after a few cases of inadvertant gender bending. XD

... Why can't you guys simply look at the "Gender" part under the avatar? We can look at it, but it would take forever, okay, it's obvious with the little gender icon, but when you have to do that with EVERYONE, it'll take forever. Or not, I'll try it when I'm not busy/when I can be bothered. |

I think I might know a reason why there are more femalr registered KND fans, because some boys fans are total morons and think that they're too 'macho' to join a sadistic forum about cartoon fandom. Girls could think that it's sad, too, but girls tend ... um, to, join more? I'm not sure.

I would think the reason there aren't many male members (and not too many males in fandoms in general) is because it seems everyone and their grandma is about the shipping, which I think usually doesn't interest guys that much.
EDIT: As for the whole "ignorant angry macho moron whatever" bits from the previous posts... Uh... yeah. Okay.
