Just do so when you have time. It's going to be a lengthy one, if everything pans out correctly, so *shrugs* More to look forward to, I guess.

No problem.
I'm going to redo that 2/86 comic I was working on. Anime form, yay! ^_^ If I'm lucky I'll finish it tonight.

THEORY TIME!
Okay, so remember when we theorized that Fanny as so harsh because she had to harden herself, seeing as it was her responsibility to decommission people who were probably her friends and whatnot? Let's kick that up a notch.
When she was a medic, maybe she fell victim to the Florence Nightingale Syndrome and fell in love with one of her patients. Then when she became a decommissioner, he was her first mission. AND if he knew her feelings, maybe he tried to use them against her, forcing her to choose between doing her job and letting him go. She chose her job (good for her, since that guy sounds like a sleaze).

Huh. That seems a little intense to me...and a little out of the blue, to boot. I can understand that Fanny would mask her emotions in order to do her job, but there are no signs pointing to an elaborate romantic background.

*blinks* No need to get defensive. Since a theory usually means something that you think could be canon, I'm just saying that I don't think that this sounds likely. Or, at least, it doesn't sound like a theory...it sounds like a fanfic.

I don't think she means it as something to be canon.
I like the thought for a fanfic, but I wouldn't want it in the show. Poor Fanny's had enough betrayal as it is.

I wasn't getting defensive. I'm just wondering what your point was. It's no different than speculating where Hoagie's dad is, or any other such thing.
And my theories tend to be plot bunnies, hence my tendency to share them.
I don't think a theory has to be something you'd think would be canon, since not everything is going to be explained in the show. Besides, if you only used what you absolutly know without a doubt, that doesn't leave much room for creativity.

I just got a weird mental image... Hoagie and Fanny watching a romantic movie, and Hoagie crying into Fanny's shoulder, and Fanny rolling her eyes. I have no idea where that came from.
It's OK Mel, I can't wait, though!

I could so see that! Can I call dibs, or you gonna draw it?
Okay, so Iv'e got like 3 pictures promised, plus a cast lineup and a comic. Keeps me off the streets, ya know?

That's a great idea for a picture! Looking forward to it...but Suki, take it easy! You should probably space out the things you're promising. We want your hands in tip top shape so that you can continue drawing for a very long time.
