Call me crazy, but I can totally see Hoagie saying this (after one too many sodas, probably):
"Your terrible personality isn't so terrible after a few drinks. And even when I sober up, it's not as terrible as everyone says."

Huh...that is fitting. A line from an upcoming story, I hope?

-snort- That IS good. I personally like these-
"I don't love you. I merely enjoy tolerating your existence immensely." = Such a Fanny line if/when Hoagie and her started dating.
"You had me at 'Stop following me'." = Such a Hoagie line.
Wanna see a snippet of that drabble I'm writing? ...sure you do.
The air was alive with the sound of a hard day's work come to a close.
The Soda Bar was the preferred sanctuary of TND operatives. One would be hard pressed to find a time when the seats weren't filled. The old-fashioned decor clashed suitably with the contemporary residents, and the overly-cushioned booths provided enough comfort to nap in (which wasn't a rare occurrence).
Every now and then, they would find themselves relaxing at the same time. And every time, he would remember, and she would block out fuzzy memories.
...and yes, I AM talking about Hoagie and Fanny there. Small reference to In The Air there. And I'm going to make a better description of the Soda Bar. I just liked the last few sentences, so I wanted to show you all.

Take out "immensely" and that is totally a Fanny line.
Of course we want a snippit. And now we have one. Hooray for psudeo-sequels. ^^
Craps, how long have I been the 2/86 Spawn owner and not known it?

No worries. We have lots of closets.
We can always toss out the plot bunnies I stored in the 2/Lizzie closet. Some copy paper, a Sharpie, and some tape, and we've got another new 2/86 closet.

Sounds really good so far! ^_^
I'm working on an anime form picture of Hoagie and Fanny right now...
wow, I cannot draw him in anime form...at all. I like the way she looks..I'm not quite done coloring, though.

Anime does not have a place for heavy characters unless they're goofy sidekicks, pervie slobs, or braindead henchmen. Or all three.
Which is why when I become a professional mangaka, my main character will be somewhat overweight! And bald. Stupid crazy hair...

Well, I fixed that by making him skinny. But..yeah..still not cooperating. Plus he's being a pain with the coloring...

Oddly enough, I really like drawing Hoagie BECAUSE he's not thin. I have no idea why. I must be strange that way.

nah, i know where youre coming from Suki..i always try to make him still chubby as a teen..sometimes failing. but maybe its because thres so many thin heroes? and the chubby/fat ones are always on computers and have minor roles (like Wade in Kim Possible)
besides, Hoagie is a cool character, maybe even cooler than most of the operatives on the show
