...That..idea....rules. How'd you come up with that one? I looked up the legal age of marriage in Guatemala and found it was 16. Also, getting a divorce is murder there, and worse in Germany, especially if you're a foriegner and/or married to a foreigner. So they'd have to go back to America, probably stay with her parents (who being so laid back, would probably welcome him into the family without a second thought). It'd be all akward, he'd deliberately sleep on the couch instead of her room (like, duh), and... well, I'll just stop there. It starts getting lemony after that. Until later, when for some reason, the marriage wasnt' legal, so he leaves, and Abby's all hurt and depressed until she gets a newspaper clip featuring a story about some week-long celebration in Guatemala, and knows it's Heinrich's way of telling her he's going to be there. She makes a bee-line for South America, goes through heck getting to the celebration (two flat tires, late plane, has to run the last few miles), and arrives just as it's closing and sees a depressed-looking Heinrich still there. Of course, there were still 3 days left of the party, and he would have waited, but she figured they had waited long enough. So they get REmarried--legally this time-- and... the end. |

Yeah... but I tend to do fluff rather than smexy stuffs. My rep would be in tatters!
Not that I couldn't write it, and write it well, mind you. I've got YEARS of romance reading to base it on. Hm... perhaps I will, after I get all my other stuff done. Or somewhere in between getting all that other stuff done.

That will be my wish on the Luxor light (my friends and I do that instead of wishing on stars since it's so hard to see them here....but dang if that Luxor light isn't visible in the whole valley)

My main worry is that... well, this would have to be a multi-chapter fic. The reason I became Teh-Drabbler on FF.net is because I havent' finished a multi-chapter fic since my first OCed Phantom of the Opera fic years and years ago. I still get the occational angry comment demanding to know when I'll update.

I think people have gotten used to me not updating. The only one people really bothered me about, I can't finish because it was a collab with a friend, and she and I had a...falling out (read: she turned into a psychopath)
Hey, doesn't matter if it takes a few years, it would still be a great read.
Speaking of writing, any plot bunny ideas that might be good for our collab?

Not yet. Unless we wanted to try the one where Black John Licorice nabs Abby to get revenge for her destroying their only chance at humanity, and Stickybeard thwaps Heinrich until he goes to rescue her.
Not very probable,and it'd jsut be LICORICE with Abby as the Damsel instead of Heinrich.

It's a good idea, but I don't think it would be lengthy enough for a collab (and I hate damsels in distress...)
