First Mate Shan Rapier -sama's my name, apparently. Or Master Isabella Jaminson. Hmm. Yeeeeee-up. Oh, and hi. I'm back from a short lived obscurity. My school's stupid parasitic blocker kept me from accessing this site, even at home.

hah, artgirl, we have the same mad scientist name! Does that make us two halves of the same person? Okay, this seems random, but....didn't you guys have a pseucide on your hands sometime this past year, before I joined up?

That was Flirtykuki. Ugh, major dramarama. Just remembering it makes me feel icky.
There's a current wank on Fandom Wank about how to set up a pseudocide. (Whadda waste of time, IMHO. F'ing pathetic drama addicted ATTENTION HOS do this shite.)

Yeah, the fandom_wank article is what prompted the comment. I find their article sarcastic and therefore hilarious, but actually doing it is ridiculous. I'm a big ole Superman fan, and somethign similar went down at a Smallville site I used to frequent...only in wasn't a pseucide, it was a fake celebrity. Some jerk convinced the admins that she was Erica Durance, and a bunch of people attacked the girls who figured out it was a hoax. Caused quite a mess, and a mass exodus of the older posters to a different board. A pseucide is a faked online death to get attention. And I'm a whole idiot all by myself. I shutter to think the damage we could cause together.

Ah, I see. Y'know, Regan started an "I R LEAVING THE INTARWEB" thread to make fun of people pretending to leave...
...which...isn't...quite a pseuicide thing...never mind.

I saw the Fandom Wank thing when browsing there earlier today. It was hilarious but also quite pathetic (not the people who wrote it, the people who do it).
I fell for the FK nonsense at first, which made me feel stupid because I should've know better, given my age 'n wisdom 'n such. ;D It was prompted by an "argument" between FK and another member of this forum--she and FK were MSN buddies, FK's brothers "like-liked" the other poster, but the other poster had just gotten into an OL lesbian relationship. A couple of days after this all went down, the pseudocide appeared. Coincidence? Not.
Ugh, I feel I have to take a shower after typing that. EWWWWWW
This is something the Professor does not like to think about--it still pisses him off, months after it happened.
