@the one bad part of my great day I left the cat in my room for most of the day, because I was in and out all morning, and he has this bad habit of trying to run out the door. You can guess what happened next. @dearest Sweetheart German--I like the way that rolls off the tongue. If you want to, how about uploading a clip of you speaking German?

Well, i'm back from bashing my head against that wall *points to wall with a giant hole in it, and a banner that says "KCG's headbashing wall"*
I'm really overreacting about this, but... well.. in my school i'm the "Go To Chemistry Person", and I completly flubbed on that one in the worst way possible. I see my explination and... I don't even know what I said... yes i have a seriously wacked out "I MUST BE PERFECT OR EVERYONE WILL TELL THAT I'M NOT PERFECT"... sense... even when I'm NOT sick...
... I wish i had a perfect day...
First we had a mass that i was singing for, because i'm in choir. I almost passed out because of sickness+hot spotlights, and THEN... I had gym. They made us do 12 laps. I was hyperventilating by the end. And they still made me do more. I think I might have passed out... I can't really remember the rest of today...

Yay,let's have "Today sucks" party. I got a 70 on a math quiz due to just forgettting signs and other such dumb mistakes.I'm an A student with parents who are extremely obsessed with good grades. I'm sure you can see how this is a problem. *has yet to tell her mother in order to have enough time to complete her will* I'm dead. ;_; So,who here has been on a high school newspaper staff? I wanna know if other schools' layout nights are as tedious and time consuming as ours. It started at 3:00 p.m. I think the last folks left around 10:45; I got home at 10. Is this...normal?

Me too. almost 2 hours of rushed testing and public humiliation in the form of a science project. I think that deserves a spot

@school paper
Ours wasn't laid out in-house, so no, no one ever stayed late. Of course, this was back in the days before Adobe and computerized layouts, i. e. back in the Deepest of Dark Ages.
;D
@school sucks
Wait 'till you guys get into "the real world" and have to deal with hormonal coworkers. It's just as bad as high school, only with Evil AdultsTM acting like grade schoolers.
I'm so glad I'm able to be a stay-at-home mom...for now. I'm going to have to find an extremely autonomous career. I can't deal with people that act worse than my 3 yo on a job. And if they're SUPERVISING me? *gack*

*Is infinitly jealous of KCG not having school* I still have AP Calculus,AP Bio, and AP english homework to do for tomorrow. I'm just taking a "break."...which has lasted an hour and a half....
@school paper. Computers just make this infinitly more difficult. For instance, my partner and I had to wait approx. an hour for the page designer to come and tell us the font/spacing to be used on our page's pull quote...only to find that it was in the server's library. Which was open on her computer when it crashed. Meaning it couldn't be opened.Gwar. I hate indesign.

... My friend taught me a joke in german: AHEM Mein Hund hat keine Nase Wie riecht er? schlecht ... YES. That's a bad joke, and probably butchered, as I have no language skills as of yet. But I will once I take french in High School.

@kcg
Jeez. If I knew how it would effect you I would have kept my yap shut. The way I see it your teacher probably hasn't gotten around to valences (spelling?) yet. Give it time.
@re: Astronomy
Well we too had all kinds of theories and oodles of delicious math. Thing is I like it that way. Mind you, I've grown up on a diet abundant in SF, to me someone not being conversant with AUs, light years and parsecs in near-incomprehensible.
@re: German
Oh no no no no. My accent is attrocious. Spent four year of my life messing with Deutschesprache and I can't string together a sentence worth a damn. Luckily, Germans speak English just fine.
@re: Today
Well my day was fine. Spent the morning reading philosophy, the afternoon messing with wxPython, dosemu, locale management under Linux and other such things so I can complete some workstation setup for a local company and I've whiled away the evening arguing with my mother over Plato and playing with Google Earth. Still...College is ever closer. *gulp*
@re: Joke
Oh good...'my dog has no nose'...precious.
