Live action movie: I heard that they are still working on the storyboard and script. I wonder what Hoagie will look like too...

Timkeeping is pretty tough here on Spaceship Earth. Which is why the whole rigmarole of timezones and like eixists. Oh, and the thread was late in getting to 55 by 'today' (from my perspective as UTC+2[1]) by three lousy minutes. For shame. However from Numbuh Googol's sunnier perspective over in the UK we finished with 57 minutes to spare.
[1] Usually UTC+1 but we move and hour forward every summer just like, say, the UK which is now at UTC+1=BST

@re: Live Action KND
On one side I'd LOVE to see it and on the other I am very skeptical. The special effects budget for the thing would have to be PHENOMENAL (mind you, CGI does some great things nowadays but still -- how the hell would they do the legendary superhuge treehouse of coolness?). And it would be VERY odd to listen to a kid that's supposedly Numubh 1 talking nothing like him. Most likely it would be done as a straight-to-DVD low-budget hack-movie that'd probably have none of Mr. W's trademark nuttiness. Then again I was skeptical about ZERO and look how that came out. As I have learned it never pays to underestimate the operatives of Sector CP.

I'm very wary about it, myself ^^; I mean, like 0xFF said, it's going to be really hard for me at least, to hear the kids sound completely different. I mean, Hoagie without his Hoagie voice? PLEASE.
ALTHOUGH, I am intrigued as to who they have for the actors. And which characters are actually going to be in it (RL Heinrich? I don't think I can say no to that).

Agreed on all counts. I actually think that it would make (some) sense to have the movie center on another sector. We'd have KND (which we know and love) but wouldn't be forced to watch, for instance, pseudo-Hoagie or quasi-Abby. In fact that'd eliminate the problem with someone that's not a fan waching the movie. Hmm.. Might even make it mainstream....
Gabbie, do me a favour and make sure your grill Mr. W (if you can, o'course) over the live action movie. Any scrap of information would be helpful and in person he might be less inclined to creatively misunderstand questions.
@re: Voice actors
They are beyond cool. Even minor characters get really cool ones.

Like everyone else, I'm not sure if it could work. How can a real kid actor "get" all the subtle things that the VAs and Sector CP developed for the characters over these 4 or 5 years?
Well, if they want to solve that problem, they can cast us fruitcakey fans ;D, but I'd have to play an evil adult. Blah. ;D

It's almost 8 PM on the East Coast. It's just starting to get dark, since it's still summer, and we'll be on Daylight Saving Time until around Halloween.

It's on the last page. A ways above my annyoed reply. I don't take people casting aspersions on the Guild honour lightly, y'know. We ARE Samurai, after all. Still it looks like the situation is growing clamer -- we won't be going to war with the 3/4 Empire after all.
