Looking forward to the book AND the movie. ^_^ To be perfectly honest, I didn't really like the 6th book, but I still want to know what happens. And the movies have all been pretty good. ^_^

When the 7th book comes out, it is going to be the best and worst day of my life.
I saw the movie last night - midnight showing - and it was awesome. It wasn't a great movie, but it was a good movie. Even though many of my favorite scenes were shortened or completely cut out, the movie was enjoyable. And, my god, it is certainly the funniest movie to date. The theater was cracking up constantly. It seems that the HP:OotP movie has mastered the art of awkward humor.

They change the betrayel to Cho doing it, thats what breaks them up Its a shame, I really like her also. But I hate what they've done with Movie-Voldemort atm, hes not as evil as his henchmen! Like if you remember in the films Bella (not seen her yet) and Barty Crouch Jr ( wayyyy more evil then books) --- Edit: *fixed the spoiler, just in case.*

I saw it yesterday. It was quite good. Umbridge reminds me of someone I know... Not totally, but the resemblance is there.
My sister and I annoyed my mum by laughing and making comments through the entire movie, but it was worth it.

Ummmm okay, Helena Bonham Carter is absolutely brilliant as Bella. I've loved her ever since Fight Club, and she totally owns the role in OotP.

Spoilers for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows below. I say this here because spoiler tags don't really hide spoilers until the page has loaded. When Dumbledore said that Harry would have to die, I thought he was actually going to die. I still don't get how he survived the killing curse twice. And I don't care how crappy/fanficcy/cliched the epilouge may be, I liked it a lot. The final sentence could've been better, though. Also Dudley said that Harry wasn't a waste of space! Hooray!

I just got the book this morning, and I've read up to 'The Wedding' chapter. HOMG. I love it so much. It's hilarious. But everything takes a turn for the emotardedness soon... Right? *trying to stay away from spoilers* I love Fred and George so much. Holey. HAHAHA. They can make a missing ear seem funny. Man, I'm going to be holed up all weekend reading this baby.

I've only made it to chapter 9 so far. Giving my eyes a little break. currently. Im going to be held up all weekend, possible by monday, reading this. i was so selfish with the book in the store. I wouldnt let go, or let anyone else hold it, except my mom. and i was talking in three word sentences. "me no share" is all i said like the whole time. Tomorrow I go see the movie, and then go out to dinner for my brothers birthday(which was last week, but he was out of town with his gf, and then he got sickthe other days we were going to go) Haha, i love fred and george. Holey. lmao.

I just finished the book. Its a great conclusion. Sort-of. But then again, it would be hard to live up to the hype. It slows down in parts. But as of midnight today. It appears I couldn't put it down. LOVED IT. And ohhhhhh, dark readings ahead you lot.

I finished it, too. Probably would have been better without that epilogue. That was anticlimactic. XP
[spoilers]Actually, I just became more convinced during this book that Luna would have been better for Harry than Ginny. But HG was handled well THIS time (finally), so I find nothing ot make huge waves about.[/spoilers]

I lost track of how many people died but-
Hedwig Mad-Eye That Minister Guy (the one who warned everyone at the wedding) Snape Dobby Lupin Tonks Colin Creevey (photographer kid) George Voldemort
Anyone that I forgot? That whole Ron and Hermione kiss in the middle of the battle was sort of Pirates 3-ish... come on, I can't be the only one thinking this

Finished the book in the wee hours of Sunday morning, but forgot to post here ^^; I liked it! I really, really liked it. I got some nice closure, and I eagerly await how this is gonna be portrayed onscreen. Although some parts made me think "Huh?" for a moment... ...and I was pretty upset that J.K. Rowling chose to kill off Mad-Eye and Lupin. You forgot Fred Oh, and the fifth movie is quite good, too. I particularly admired how Imelda Staunton (sp?) played Umbridge. ;D
