REALLY big bump.... Bump.... Anyway, there are 3/4 worshippers, 3/4 fans, 3/4 likers, people who don't care that much, and 3/4 haters. I fall into the category of 3/4 fans. I mean, sure, every time I see 3/4, I get a bit excited, but I would never bash someone who likes 1/3 or even 1/4. (Though, I don't like slash that much....) Anyway, I think that 3/4 is kinda cute, but I don't go around saying, hAHAZ0MGZORZ 3/4 IS AO CUT~!!!! or anything. Basically, I like 3/4 and support it. Now, eat, drink, and be merry, and please don't throw me into the flaming pit of death for reviving this. ^^;; And Funkey Monkey Rebal, can you please post your 3/4 poem here or at least PM it to me? I'd like to see it.  |

Yes, I might like to see it too... though I shouldn't really post here, people think I'm an airhead...  Yet I looked over my posts from '04, and I was shocked. I can't believe I used to type like that! No wonder no one took me seriously! I feel the same way as you guys probably felt about me when I see someone my age write something unreadable, or in chatspeak. I feel more grown up and mature for my age now than ever before, but it doesn't mean I don't make mistakes. But I had the weakest comebacks and terrible spelling skills just six months ago... Oh, well. Anyways, I hope you all know that I'm trying not to be such an annoying kid, and more like a member who appreciates Kids Next Door.  EDIT: Also, I've already gotten better at doube posting, I now realize I casn use the 'modify' feature in this forum. |

Well about this 3/4 thing. I don't know if 4 likes 3. Sometimes it looks like 4 is scared and doesn't wanna get beaten up by 3.

i agree with the fans killing it for all its worth for the more subtle people who like the couple as well ..
People should write whatever the hell their little hearts desire, actually going the distance and saying that its the greatest thing since the great gasby (great book in my opinion) .. then we have a problem lol I don't think the problem is that these kids are really too young to understand that their grammar and mechanics are horrible beyond compare, but that they think (and by they i mean some) too highly of what they've written that they believe in their naive little heads that most people would actually enjoy their grade school antics of fandom boredom.
Though i should talk considering i am the fragment queen and i'll never score higher than a 3 in my sat..but anyway besides that .. its more on modesty than anything else in my opinion
the fandom however is anoying, i mean who doesn't want to beat fangirls silly lol
though if u think about it, if there were more fans then they'll be more fanfics, and if there more fanfics, then there will be a better chance of coming across a really REALLY good writer..
I mean the world isn't full of a bunch of iliterate brats now is it

no its not but most of the really good writers are of doing easier fanfics like anime fanfics...iono about anyone else, but i've had many ideas for knd fanfics that in the end i look at them and say"this is too dark for knd" or "this is too serious" or "it just doesn't fit".
its easier writing a fitting fic for more mature shows and topics...
and even if you are a realy good writer, and your story is really great, sometimes it just doesn't feel like something that would actually happen in the knd universe...
so thats why i think its hard to find good fics for knd;_;

yea that makes sense but a good fanfic writer should be able to absorbe the characters personality enough to write at least a decent fanfict regarless of the the material that is use.
It is after all a kids show, but if realism is put into play then of course you would have to work aroudn it to make it fit in the knd universe.. if not then ur writing a story that is based on characters from a show rather than writing a story that is in tribute of the show.. so the whole idea of it is taken but its not really the knd anymroe but ur own personal story
A good writer knows how to distinguish between what would make sense in the world of the knd or what wouldn't. I think that the main problem is that people tend to make up their own stories rather than staying loyal to the cartoon, which of course pisses off many loyal fans of the show.
fanfics are what if stories.. if u want to rape the characters personality so that it can fit in ur deranged fanfic then u better state it before people go out thinking their reading something worthwhile.
other than that before i got off topic lol most of the wally and kuki stories that circulate around fanfiction are so out of character and are so deranged that it hard to related to real characters they are based off of. The writers lose touch of who the character really are and start making a different character to fit their story .. i guess thats what pissing people off ..
