Point is, 3/4 started out as canon, and still is. Canon couples are always the most popular. It'd be stupid for the writers to just up and ignore 3/4 now. I'm just sick of people complaining. If you don't like it, don't watch it. If you're really unhappy with something, write fanfiction; that's what it's for. I'm writing my fanfiction because I'd like to delve into the darker elements of the entire KND universe. I know the show will never incorporate elements like that, and I'm perfectly okay with it. I'm not going to email Mr. W telling him that the show is "too light". If you don't like 3/4, write fanfiction.

But if it's crappy fanfiction, keep it to yourself.

If the official CN webcite noted that Wallabee Beatles has a soft spot for a certain girl on his team that is always happy, and that leaves Kuki as the only possibility. (Tomboys are definitely ruled out.) So, this makes it rather canon.

I am just simply stating my feelings on the whole thing. I can easily live with 3/4. Sure, I won't like it, but I will LIVE with it, if that is what Mr. Warburton really wants.

So I'll say it again: ignore all fan response. Wherever you planned on 3/4 going from the beginning, bring them there.
A:nope...fan input doesn't dicatate what we do at all. you have to remember that each episode takes over a year to go from script to screen (we're generally working on approx. 30 episodes at any given time) so we don't really have time to react to what fans think. if they want more epsiodes with the KND eating chicken nachos next season, GREAT! but we're already done writing the next season and guess what? THERE ARE NO SHOWS WITH THE KND EATING CHICKEN NACHOS IN THAT SEASON! (you heard it here first) so you ay, "well, what about the NEXT season after that? give us some shows with the KND eating chicken nachos then or there'll be heck to pay!" but if we were to do that, who's to say that a year later the fans won't be, like, SO over chicken nachos and instead want the KND eating corn dogs? and then we've got 30,000 shows with chicken nachos and not one with corn dogs and then everyone runs over to watch billy and mandy because their whole 6th season is the 'billy and mandy corn dog extravaganza season extrodinaire'. and then i wail and cry, "why oh why did i listen! WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY!"

That's EXACTLY what I thought. Well, except for the fact that fan ideas don't count for them. When I snap my fingers, start reacting to it.

I can't say I disagree. People tend to forget that ultimately it's Tom's cartoon, and he can do what he wants with his characters. He probably had a set plan for plots and character personalities from Day 1, and didn't count on people making such a big deal out of the romance aspect, or attempting to "pair up" everyone with everyone else. Why should he have to overhaul his creative masterpiece and change around character interactions because of an aspect of the show that was probably the last thing on his mind when he first came up with the idea?

This is probably hypocritical coming from me, as on the pro wrestling boards, I am one of the first to rant about how Vince McMahon should run the WWE.

Agree. Robin/Starfire is a quite popular couple with some evidence, but not as blatant as 3/4.
They could only care really much about each other without the whole "n.3, i always wanted to tell you something...*DANGER comes and n.4 is interrupted in his confession*" thing.
