Hello, I'm the author of the fanfiction you mention. A friend sent me a link to your message board yesterday, and I'm really very flattered to have my story be mentioned here. I had fun reading the thread, I even laughed myself to tears because of a certain post by someone disobeying the COOPA law, I'm sure you know who I mean. I'd just like to clarify a few things. I like the Mushi/Kuki coupling despite, and not because of, their blood relation. I'm not an "incest fan", however I am a fan of f/f couples. That doesn't mean I like all f/f couples, 3/5 doesn't really appeal to me at all, I see them only as friends. #3 and her sister however.. Both so sweet... Well, it would take too long to explain why this appeals to me, and then most probably wouldn't get it anyway.  For my fanfiction, I would definitely like to clarify some things. If you decide not to read it, that's your choice, but remember that you can't judge something you haven't read. My writing of this fanfiction and the actions described are hardly "atrocious behavior". The story is PG rated at the most, but I rated it PG-13 on fanfiction.net "just in case". There is nothing in it that goes against fanfiction.net guidelines, so it is not reportable. It's just a story about innocent love without societal bounds. Nothing sexual is even hinted at. It's pure fluff... Not really great, but nothing "atrocious" either. If you feel uncomfortable reading it, then don't. I would prefer that only those who might enjoy it would. But also don't think you can pass judgement when you haven't. It's nice to meet you all... One more thing, am I really the only fan of this coupling? Don't be shy.  |

Oh my god... You created that fic? Lily, you should have put this on the adult fanfiction website. BTW I got your copy. I'm the master of rating. I don't think PG13 would work for that. It should be rated R or NC17. PG13 would be like violence, a little use of drugs, rude humor, illegal street racing and romance. But not like that. No siree! I know you're very flattered and all but please forgive me.

You may need to reevaluate your mastery of the ratings system. There is no violence, any use of drugs, rude humor, or illegal street racing in my story, and romance is allowed in PG rated and to some extent G rated movies. There is nothing "adult" about my story at all-- please reread my message. I would be insulted to be labeled as a porn author in this situation. Nothing sexual is even hinted at. A gay couple does not mean an automatic NC-17 or R rating of a fanfiction.

There is nothing in it that goes against fanfiction.net guidelines, so it is not reportable. sadly, a lot of people will report fic just because they are squicked by something, even if it violates no guidelines. the ff.net staff also doesn't tend to double-check - they will simply delete. i was considering the general immaturity of the fandom when i said it'll probably be reported for some fake reason... i still think it probably will. sucks, though. Even though I'm not a big slashcest kind of girl, I thought it was really well-written and pretty cute! And I thought it was rather nice to see something a little different from the usual couples written about on FF.net. |

Sorry, not to be rude, but do you see gay and incest in G movies!? ahh, but see? movies have a totally different set of standards than fanfic because the two have totally different audiences. fic in general has a higher tolerance for "wierdness" without if affecting ratings negatively. i don't know anyone who is ACTUALLY 3-8 years old who reads fic, but that is the target age of rated G movies. (in general) man, this all comes back to that stupid double standard people have. slash is no more intrinsically rated something than het is. there is just as much offensive het as slash, there is just as much sweet+innocent slash (shonen-ai and shojo-ai, anyone?) as het, and all these people assuming that because some characters are gay the thing needs to have a higher rater are perpetuating this double standard. it's ANNOYING, people. rather, a romance fic needs to be judged on what happens and how much is described. in this paticular fic, it is a single kiss and little to no physical detail is given (rather, it focuses on kuki's emotions, not what certain tounges and lips and stuff are doing) this is a standard G to PG amount. in MY fic, there is some heavy making out and suggestions of more, and thus it's PG13. man, this is waaaay too long a rant. |

It couldve been counted as PG13, but it seemed more PG. Just cuz its [fem]slash and/or incest, it doesnt mean it has to be highly rated. Moreso about the fic, I thought it was a well written fic despite my take on M/K, so good job, 1117. keep continuing to support Mushi/Kuki. |

Let me paraphrase this again, The rating of PG13 has the one I told you about. Incest doesn't count, really. If incest counts, it should be in the adult fanfiction website. If you don't believe me, it would be deleted and I'm not kidding and I'm not made of money either. It's their duty to make the fanfiction site clean. Remember, you gotta come clean. God why would anybody like this couple? I only like it for 15% and now this. We're not gonna allow sadistic perverts here. Well MaxK told me about the movie he watched like maybe he was younger, 15 perhaps? He said that the movie is based on the novel, I think. The movie is about a mom was so crazy and told her son and daughter about not going to the outside world but they did it anyway. You know, they... you know what and I don't care. He also told me it wasn't too graphical. As for Lily's fic, I don't think it's graphical to make anybody's sister making love or something. I'm just getting confused a little. But oh-ho, You got me now. I lied! WHOO-HOO! I'm not the master of rating, I'm the master of gaming. BTW I was playing BEST in my mom's school computer. Man it's easy as one, two, three. In da place to be! I've played every level in that game and it's almost over. Right now the only mission left is POOL. Okay back to the topic, all I want to say is it's wrong to make a fic about that kind of relationship that some "pervs" want to read it. Why do you want to publish that again? I will but she did pretty good, I've read the whole thing of her fic. Being a pervert is that something that a guy wants to look at. Being a sadistic pervert is that something that a guy takes too much on a girl. Perhaps his instincts was way too hard for a girl and himself? I guess it is. It's not good to be a pervert. You have to learn your manners on a girl. But for girls, you should try that too on a boy. When you get older, it's harder than it looks. You must be responsible for him/her. Yes, sadly, you're probably right. There still are a lot of people who aren't very open minded and/or don't realize they can censor themselves and would report my story, which doesn't violate the rules.

I'm sorry you found my short fanfiction to be less than groundbreaking. I would suggest that next time you want to read fanfiction you spend it reading a story that is about a subject you might enjoy instead of reading something you knew you wouldn't like from the start. What is "ish"?

It sucks that all these silly 12 year olds are reporting your fanfic. If someone so much as mentions slash-cest to them they'd be all: "OMG! DATS GROSS! LOL!!!1!" or "EwWwWw! SlAsH-cEsT = iCkY!!!1!!111!one!!".

Well boyinasuitcase (Since I've read his review) is a prick. He was bothering us like a month ago. So I teach this little punk a big lesson about this thread and our forum. What is ish? It's one of scone's popular 1/4 fic. You might wanna read it. I just ignore reading it. There was a lack of proof between 1/4. The other reviews in your fic said "it was gross." The fourth reviewer was right but I only like this couple for 15%. I asked my mom about it and incest is a sin. It's against the law of god. Not just the bible but it's against the law of god. I forgot to mention about it, guys. Instead of going to ff.net, I think you're going to make that fic as a private fic maybe making a website of KND or something. I think the peoples' reviews are going to spread your fic about it. They might not like it. Wait, I got a better idea. There's a shoujo-ai archive that has a fanfiction section in there.
