Favorite slash pairing in Codename: Kids Next Door. Not my favorite slash pairing in the world, though. But it's cute. X3

1/4 is, in my opinion, an okay couple. I think it's pretty cute, but it's not my favorite slash couple.
Actually, it's a really freaky coincidence-- Kind of off-topic but... if you match KND characters to Harry Potter characters like this: 1 - Harry 2 - Ron 4 - Draco ... then my couple preferences and the couple preferences of other fans in general are exactly the same. See, 1/4 is the most popular slash couple in KND fandom, and so is Harry/Draco, but I personally don't like either (I think it might be because they're so popular, but I'm not sure). However, my favorite KND slash couple is 2/4, and coincidentally, my favorite HP slash couple is Ron/Draco. I also like Harry/Ron and 1/2 but I like them more in a best-friends kind of way. I remember when I was reading GoF, and Harry was like, "Hermione's nice and all, but she's not Ron," I was like, "Oh, that's so cute!" but I don't really think of them as a couple.
So anyway, I think 1/4 is pretty cute, but I'm not really a fan of it, possibly because there are a lot of fans already.

wow. i totally didn't see this thread. how lame am i?
man, back when i first got into KND and went looking for slash, there were like... four fics. and the only good ones were two written by the same author and were 1/4s (i think the other was DC/KND w/slash, and the other was 2/4) so it was all an equal playing field.
but now 1/4 is really popular! weeeird! and there's been a big explosion in fic and sites and stuff...
anyways, i think the third season was really great for this couple, with all the evidence. kept me watching and re-watching for many hours. or something like that.

Hells yeah! Okay, did anyone (besides Scone, cause I know she did, because she was on the same couch) see a lot of slash in H.U.G.S.?
Like Scone was talking about with the Season 3 re-watching:
And did anyone else listen closely to Wally in L.O.C.K.D.O.W.N. when One crashed? He was screaming, admist the confusion, something that sounded like "Oh please tell me you're alright!" Tone: incredibly panicked. I dunno, I think that that's the point when I stop thinking it's entirley my slashing imagination. I kind of what to know to what degree you guys find Four's interest in One to be normal, straight-male best-friend behavior.
Throughout the show I feel a lot of interest from Four's end, but I have to work harder to find instances of One's interest. Not that they aren't there, but they're more subtle.
And why the sudden fic explosion, indeed?

Tone: incredibly panicked. I dunno it was something along the lines of "Numbuh One! Are you alright?! Oh Please tell me you're alright!!" i believe. will use massive canon-research skillz as to feel useful and cool. but before i do - who remembers the breaking down into tears scene in BUTT? 'cause i do. and it was slashtastic. oooh yeah.
