Hey, I just wanted to give this board another shot, so I thought I'd pose the question:
What is your favorite weird or unusual pairing? By that I mean any pairing OTHER than 1/5, 1/Lizzie, and 3/4.
I've seen enough to know there's some ideas out there--me and Jess once tried to write a fanfic that paired Hoagie with the blonde girl of the Delightful Children, and I myself am a 1/3 fan.
So, anyone else with an unusual couple they like? Hmmm?

If someone's so shallow that they have a bee in their undies about subjects like this, then they deserve whatever discomfort this thread gives them. That being said, if anyone tries to put a damper on things, just ignore them and post away. |

I like Numbuh Two/Laura Limpin. I pulled this couple out of thin-air for a fanfic, and it grew on me so much that I already have a few other ideas that continue the adventures of the duo. Hoagie's an underused character that has great potential, and Laura's a really cute and interesting character to write. Plus, being with Laura means free Skunky Scout cookies, and everyone loves Skunky Scout cookies. ^_^

Same here! But if someone said they wasn't going to get together the next choice for me would be 1/3. And besides I don't think 2/5 is an unusual pairing, its actually my 2nd fav. couple out of the KND. Though I know more people like 1/5 so yeah... |

You can make a strong argument for a 2/5 relationship, I believe. There are also things to be said about 1/3. But don't let the 1/5 crowd hold you back from writing a 2/5 fanfic. Odds couples need support, and Hoagie definently should get his fair dues. |
