I am so psyched to see this movie! I love Pixar! ;D So, I'm starting this Ratatouille discussion thread; just post any questions, comments, or concerns about the movie, even if you haven't seen it yet!

I am COMPLETELY excited about this movie. So far, there are only 12 reviews on RottenTomatoes, but they're all positive ;D (What'd you expect from a Brad Bird-directed Pixar movie?) I also saw the nine-minute preview after Finding Nemo on ABC last Saturday, and frankly, I like what I see so far

I've only seen previews on TV and at the movies, but it looks totally fun, and I really want to see it.

I wanna see it, but it looks like I'm going alone...but I'm definitely going.

Yeah, Pixar is really great when it comes to details, not really a spoiler but I saw in one their Podcast, that for a scene where someone gets thier clothes wet, they actually threw one of the animators into a pool to see how wet clothes look like in real life!

Well, those are the lengths animators go to for accuracy.
Which is one reason I wanna be one ;D
You think this movie will do good at the box office? I mean, on one hand, rats aren't automatically the most appealing creatures, so it might draw away rodent-phobes. But, then again, Pixar managed to make a movie about bugs entertaining...

But the rat is cute! And it's a funny concept.

Well, yes.
Ah, well. I guess all that matters in the end is if it's a good movie. (and considering the director, studio, and early reviews...I'd say there's a good chance it is)

I'm thinking it's going to do well. 1. It's Pixar. That alone's going to rake in a crowd. 2. I've looked up what the critics are already saying (the ones that got a preview)...even on the site with the most cynical jerks (that I usually read before going to a movie..they're harsh, but typically right)....100% of the critics LOVED it. I've never seen them give a movie that before. Ever.

If it's half as good as the previews, it'll be well worth the cost of money, time, and the trip to the theater. Won't go on opening weekend, though. Guarenteed it'll be packed.

I want to convince my grandmother to see it 'cause she loves to cook. I want to see it because it looks hilarious, I love Paris, and.. it looks hilarious.

I went to another site and read five pages worth of users review. End result, the vast majority gave it 8 to 10 out of 10 stars. How many negative reviews? Exactly one. Only one person out of all of those reviewers didn't like it.

How about, perhaps, a funny quote or scene? Something that sort of stuck out that wasn't in the previews.
