I've been running my brain over this for a while ever since I heard the spoiler for Operation: GIRLFRIEND and I'm starting to wonder if the Splinter cell's plans for Nigel has something to do with cutting him off from everything that doesn't have to do with the KND. Knowing Nigel, this wouldn't take much effort seeing as how Lizzie and his parents seem to be the only people outside of the KND he cares about, and he doesn't have much of a life outside the KND otherwise.
I also starting thinking about Eggboy's connection to the Splinter Cell and came up with the theory that they made sure that Nigel wouldn't get elected because it would get between him and his duties as a KND, so they did something to the ballets so that Eggboy would win and Eggboy somehow found out.
Any other theories?

I think Eggboy's little helper, the guy who counted the votes, knows something about the Splinter Cell. He was the one who wrote the note it seems. Eggboy is pretty oblivious. Seems to be more of a red herring. A cover. Maybe even a fall guy. Too slow to know what's happening so someone else can run the show.

I think that a few people from the moonbase may be in on it
I feel Numbuh 60 may have something to do with it.
and numbuh 65.3 and I think the leader BEFORE chad numbuh 100 may be in it.

I think they might want Numbuh 1 to become one of them because he is such a good adult fighter and stuff.

Maybe, it might be something that happened in Operation W.H.I.T.E.H.O.U.S.E. like the bill of "No Rights For Kids" which Nigel refused to sign, or the shadowy guys behind the test for him, in which they don't want him cataching up on them, or that in Operation A.M.I.S.H. that the Splinter Cell was also after Hoagie and other KND 2X4 technologists and scientists, but it's too close to call.

I'm not really sure what to think about the Splinter Cell, all I know is that some characters that we've seen are in it, or, atleast, that's what Mr W said in one of my Q and A's.
Quote: "Q: Are there any characters that we know so far in the show, that are part of the Splinter Cell? A: yup."

I think the splinter cell want him to join too, and if Nigel is the one who leaves at the end of the series, I bet he takes the offer and decides to fake kill himself so he no one can know. And Splinter cells are those black dark shaped objects who are shown at the end of the episode.

I suspect he is a candidate for the Splinter Cell Leader position thats why Chad gets so mad. Apart from knowing what they are planing for Nigel, I'am really ticked (not to say something more inappropriate) becuase we found Chad was one of the good guys few minutes later he's never seen again. I really hope he appears in I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. or at lest tell what happened to him.

There are no "Splinter Cell". But there are "Others." "The Others" are a shadow organization that oversees the KND, teenagers and adults. In a sense, they are an organization that has members from every age group and they are the ones that pull the strings and make the decisions. It is a secret group known only by those who work for them. Its influence and power over individuals stretches to every age organizations.
Nigel is selected because he's the best sector leader there is. He has proven to be calculative, proficient and effective leader. Not to mention that he's the offspring of Numbuh Zero, and his traits are visible in him.
Speaking of the Splinter Cell, is Maurice a member? Since Chad is one, I would hope Maurice is one of them as well.

I dunno. Seems to me Nigel's best talent is cleaning up his messes before they become totally irreversable. We won't mention the unknown leaders who manage to avoid such cataclysmic mistakes entirely.

This I agree with, and I don't know about Maurice, maybe will find out in Interviews.
