I caught FOODFITE/CLUES today, and FOODFITE made me wonder, just under what logic does Grandma Stuffum count as a supervillain? Oh, I don't doubt the "super" part. It's the "villain" part I question.
I mean, she's just a sweet old lady who wants to keep kids fed! And most of the stuff she feeds them is healthy! (Cream of Spinach!)
If there's anything wrong with her, it's that she's in completely the wrong country--I'm sure there are third-world countries where the kids would appreciate her (then again, considering how all the kids on KND are so thin they could beat the Digimon kids in a "world's skinniest cartoon character" contest, maybe they ARE undernourished).
Thoughts?

I doubt anyone in KND world is starving, after all, there is a sea of asparagus, seems enough to feed everyone who's hungry.

Yeah. There are a lot of third world countries that need food. Then, she is in the wrong Nation. She probably needs to go to Africa...

About what she feeds them being "healthy", try looking up the lyrics of FOODFITE. She mentions at least 2 kinds of brains as ingredients. And curried rat...that's gotta carry several diseases.

The thing is that she's forcing them to eat WAY more food that is healthy. She's OVERfeeding them.
Not to mention most of that stuff is just gross which, in a kid's point of view, makes her a threat to the kid's way of life.

Yeah...and wouldn't forcing kids to eat food that's not just vomit-inducing, but still moving be considered villainous? Or at least mildly unpleasant?

The main thing with Stuffums is that you have to think from a kid's point of view. No kids likes eating gross foods. I mean, is Father less evil for wanting to force kids to eat broccoli in IT? No. If anything else, he's MORE evil.

Now who in their right mind would think an olive loaf is "healthy food" Most of her food is, even from an adult POV, slimy, overcooked, gooey, and just plain old nasty.

You think that's gross? The KND eat Chicken Nuggets straight from a river and chocolate right out of some canyon! That can't be healthy by any means. Can you imagine how soggy those nuggets must be, or how much dirt and mineral must be in that chocolate? They could probably get all sorts of diseases that way!
That's not even mentioning the part where they allow their friends to go inside their digestive system to remove brusselsprouts...

You're missing the point. Kids don't CARE about healthy. They care about what tastes good. Apparantly, chicken nuggets from a river and chocolate from a canyon (not to mention Rainbow Munchies from a canyon) taste really, REALLY good. Why should they care about it being healthy or not? They. Are. KIDS.

When KND first started, as much as I loved the show I couldn't help but wonder if it would be a bad influence on kids, due to things like fighting against healthy food. But like many people have already said here, Stuffum's food isn't all healthy. Most of it's a parody of something healthy, and who knows what some of that stuff would do to your digestive system if you were to eat it in real life? Ouch.
It's a god point, though. I mean, Gramma Stuffum does seem to have a somewhat caring side to her. From her dialogue and the way she acts, I think that maybe it's possible that she doesn't actually realise how unhealthy her meals are.
The overfeeding thing reminds me of my own grandparents. Whenever they find out I've skipped a meal or something they always tell me off! And I can imagine a lot of grandparents like that. So Gramma Stuffum is sort of a parody of that. Although since she goes so over the top with the overfeeding then I would consider that damaging their health and therefore villainous.

You....you DO realize you're watching a cartoon, right? You do realize we're on a fan forum where the whole point is to have fun with the show and overanalyzing it is a perfectly valid way to do that, right? ^__^
