I guess I should give an explanation first. Exalted is a tabletop roleplaying made by White Wolf Game Studios. It is also the source of my user name Demetheus. It concerns the Exalted a group of humans who were granted incredible supernatural powers in order to fight the enemies of the gods. The Exalted won their battle and went on to lead a glorious First Age only to have crumble to ruin due to depravity, betrayal, and an ancient curse.
The primary characters in Exalted are the Solar Exalted, the Chosen of the Unconquered Sun and the former leaders of Creation in the First Age. The Solars are the embodiment of heroism, they are chosen for the incredible potential for excellence. The Solars are the akin to the heroes of old: Beowulf, Odysseus, Achilles, Gilgamesh, and more. They also embody heroic virtues and are natural leaders. The kids of Sector V actually fit well into the mold of the Solar Exalted. This is what I think each kid would be were he or she to be chosen by the Unconquered Sun and why.
There are some game terms you should understand first though. The Solar Exalted are divided into five castes each with its only specialty. All beings in Creation also have some representation of the four primary virtues: compassion (Empathy, forgiveness, etc), conviction(determination, the willingness to do what has to be done), temperance (self-control), and valor (bravery). Finally though the Solar Exalted are the embodiment of heroes they are flawed heroes. They suffer from an ancient curse put upon them by their ancient enemies. The curse ensures that the Exalted will be dogged by the treachery and hubris that was displayed in the slaying of their enemies. For the Solars this manifests primarily as a twisting of the very virtues that make them heroes. Sometimes they overindulge in their primary virtue and other times they temporarily abandon it altogether when the curse takes hold. We all have our failings and so do the kids of Sector V. With that said, on with the analysis!
Nigel Uno, Numbuh One
Caste: Zenith
Primary Virtue(s): Conviction and Valor
Virtue Flaw: Foolhardy Contempt
Why: The Zeniths were the leaders and priest-kings of the First Age. They stood as inspirationsfor mortal and Exalt alike. They were also great judges striving toward righteous action. Nigel definitely embodies these traits. He's a natural leader, able to inspire greatness within both himself and the other members of the KND. He fights for a righteous cause and there are few things shake his determination. Nigel is also very much willing to put himself in danger at the forefront of the charge even when has nothing but his faith in the righteousness of his cause to aid him. Unfortunately Nigel also has a tendency to jump in without considering the full consequences of his actions. Those under the sway of Foolhard Contempt will often put themselves in danger without thinking about the personal risks involved. In some cases they'll even refuse to retreat even when it is wise to do so.
