Word from Tom

Hey guys. You all know by now about episodes airing in the UK. I had already heard about it before Sam Numbuh 17 started posting, but I E-Mailed Tom first to make sure it wasn't some sort of joke or a possible mistake. Here is what he said in response:

it IS a little annoying that they're running episodes in the UK before the US, though. i'll have to go yell at someone.

After I got over my initial reaction (which was "is someone spending a LITTLE too much time in Prof. XXXL's laboratory of diseases?") I decided to post this here.

Okay... my psychic powers haven't been working so well lately, but nevertheless I'm going to take a guess and say that I'm almost POSITIVE that the part about a live-action movie is just an early April Fool's joke. As for the rest... a Direct-to-Video Movie is all too likely. Seasons Five and Six? Too early to comment on that.

So, what you guys think?

Ugh, that live-action thing BETTER be false, the show is a cartoon for a good reason! Making it live-action would destroy everything that made it good -- it's what happens to almost all cartoons turned live-action movies.

A direct-to-video movie is likely, but probably after a third or fourth season. Often cartoons-turned-movies don't do well in theaters, so at least with it being on video/DVD it won't be stabbed repeatedly in the cruelest of ways in the box office which would result in more people having a lesser view on the show itself. Oh, and don't forget those critics who don't do their homework...

Way too soon for a fifth and sixth season considering we're not even through with the second one yet.

Seems Tom isn't too pleased the other eps are being aired in other countries before the U.S. I ain't either, it sucks.

I'll say. You'll never make Kuki Sanban as cute an' adorable as she is if she's not animated. That and live-action would prevent them from doing a lot of the wild stuff the show DOES do (the 2x4 technology, for example).

Though they could do something similar to, say, Looney Tunes: Back in Action--which I thought was a good movie.

A live action movie? I guess it would be cool to see what the kids would really look like but the cartoon would be much better.

I'm hoping that's a rumour...

I wish all the episodes where aired at the same time everywhere, it would make things much easier.
