I have an idea for one, It's Called Codename: Kids Next Door Fantasy X. In this story, Seector V[along with their new member Numbuh 273] are battling in the re-birth of the Ancient War which started the tyrany between Kids and Adults,The Ancient KND battled using the elemental tools created from the 15 Ancient Elements.
Here are the elements,tools and Warrior names for Sector V. N1/Gold/Golden Dagger/Uno theif N2/Wood/Multiple Ring/Wood Pharoh N3/Roses/Rose Staff/Pin/Rose Kitten N4/Silver/Silver Sword/Silver Muscater N5/Shadows/Shadow Bat Whip/Shadow Scurge N273/Psychic/Princess Septer/Psychic Princess
Later on in the series they get help from a few supporting cast.
N86/Stars/Star Rod/Star Warrior N362/Phinoex/Phinoex Sword/Slphix Phinoex Lizzie/Fire/Fire Harp/Fire Maiden Tommy/Earth/Earth Whip/Earth King Mushi/Air/Air Tambourine/Air Empress Ace/Water/Water Arrow/Water Knight Cree/Thunder/Thunder Syth/Strike Ninja
The DC also inherit the dark element[Black Magic] and can become the Demon of Vile Darkness.
The anime is 60 ep. long, The background music is from the tsubasa and Mermaid Melody animes, The opening is BLAZE and the ending is Loop.
Now a bit on N273, A cute and sassy girl with a heart of gold,She's sarcastic,fun-loving, intelligent, mature, polite,An Enviormentalist, and talented in the arts. She is also a Psychic Mutant,Her powers include Seeing into the past and future, Telikenises,Astrological fortune telling and forcefeilds. She enjoys teasing N1 and 4 for fun and has a strong relationship with N5 in the friendship department, She idolizes N5 to the point of over obssesion but loves her to the point where N5 is almost her sister or mother.

Why not just have them all play Collectible Card Games and get it over with?

I guess you diddn't like the idea much[that's fine thought].
Anyway, Here are the summaries for the first four episodes.
1.Discovering the first six Elements It's a peaceful day in Sector V as operatives 1-5 get more aquainted with their newest female operative Numbuh 273,Until Numbuh 362 calls them in for recruits in the re-astablished Ancient War.Noone but Two-Seventy-Three belives her until the DC attack the Treehouse and N273 transforms into the Psychic Princess to fight them.Ufortanetley she can't deafet them alone, So one by one they transform and together deafet the DC for now.
2.First Battle with the element Black Magic As 273 explains more about the ancient war,N2 tinkers with a new invention to help them in battle.Meanwhile the DC tell Father about their previuos encounter with the KND, realzing what this means he inherits them to the element Black Magic. After School they purposely run into Sector V and challenge them to a battle[this time fully prepared] and become the Demon of Vile Darkness. In the battle's middle, They almost lose beacuse of N2's new invention but win out.
3.Mission to the Arctic Base Sector V gets a mission spec from N65.3 that N362 needs them at Arctic Base,Little do they know it's a trap set up by Father and the DC. The team splits up and falls one by one until N3's the last one standing,She manages to deafet them and they go home.
4.Persuasion of the Psychic After a forest fire,N273 revives it with a magic seed,N5 sees this and is amazed by her new friends kindness.Unfortanetly the DC come to have a battle with Sector V and cause utter cayous. After N273 witnesses the almost destruction of her friends and the newley born forest, Her rage turns her into her alter-ego Mikeru and he mersivisly attacks the DC.He's about to kill them until N5 and N273's spirit ask him to spare them and let Two-Seventey-Three take control again.Mikeru obeys and she comes back.

I guess you diddn't like the idea much[that's fine thought]. Actually, the deal was I just didn't understand your first post. The episode summaries gave me a greater idea what you were talking about. However after reading the summary, I found I kinda disagreed with the idea. Here's my idea for a KND anime: Get Bleedman to write the manga, and then make an anime of it ^__^ Seriously, after reading his Powerpuff Girls manga (which by the way, the Kids Next Door are going to eventually appear in) I feel Bleedy is the only person who could make KND an anime and do it right.

Well they'd probably turn into super kamikaze chibi robot things, there'd be twice the romance-related things, all the characters would blush for no reason, there'd be lots of crying, there would be a vocal intro track about love with lots of broken english... the basic anime stuff. No offence, I'm just fooling around. =p

They could still simply play card games and get it over with ^__^.
Yes, I've been watching Yu-Gi-Oh recently.

Here are the summaries for ep.5-8 of C:KND FX.
5. Gentle Passion of years before An old friend of N5's named Artemis[ who's deeply in love with her] comes to stay for a bit, N3 and 273 like his gentlemen ways, N2 and 4 think he's cool and N5's just happy to see him again. But N1 is jealous of Artemis flirting with her[the others try to prove it thought he keeps denying it]. Later Artemis purposes to N5 but she gets angery and shoes him away, Later she goes to find him but he has now turned into a monster by the DC trying to kill her, after N1 and 273 save her, she returns him.
6.Only eight hours to save Sector V Ready to get even with Sector V, Th Dc put a bomb in the treehouse to self-destruct in 8 hoursand put a magic dome around it. When our heros find out , they try everything imagienable but nothing works until N273 musters enough Psychic energy to destroy the dome. With only 60 sec. left, N2 disables it and the treehouse is saved.
7.Live concert After N273 is asked to be the guest singer at the Moonbase dance, She teams up with N5 and 3, But during rehersal, N3 isin't sure she'll do well but N5 gives her confidence. On the night of the dance, The DC try to sabatoge it but are driven away by the girls singing. Afterwards, N3 is happy she did well. Featured Songs: KIZUNA, Yume no sono saki he, Focus, Loop,Kibou no Kaneoto- Love goes on-
8.Firey redhead of the Element Stars Sector V is on a wild goose chase to get the code-module from the DC and request for back-up, But what they get is Numbuh 86. After chasing them half across the state,N86 transforms and gets the code-module back.

Um... I'm kind of disappointed by the replies to this thread. I mean, does everybody automatically think "teen romance", "giant robots", "everybody has new fantasy/sci fi powers" when they think of anime?
Actually, the reason why I wanted to reply to this thread is that a long long time ago, I dreamt that C:KND was actually made into an anime. My dream only had Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 1, but they looked like young adults. The episode in my dream focused on Numbuh 1. I think that he was looking for the other 4 Sector V members. He met with Numbuh 86 and asked her if she could give him a ride. (She had some sort of light helicopter.)
That's sort of how I see a KND anime. As opposed to the cartoon, it would have a continuous, probably more serious storyline. I really don't see it having more romance than the KND cartoon has currently. I really think that it would be more action oriented. I would say it would probably resemble Inuyasha or One Piece in terms of how the story is approached. I'm not sure what age the KND would be, though.
In terms of giant robots and special powers, I don't see the KND having any more than they have in the show. I mean, what's wrong with having an anime where the KND still just use 2x4 technology?

Because it would still feel like the cartoon. Something has to be different for it to feel more like anime.
That's what I think, anyway.

Um... I'm kind of disappointed by the replies to this thread. I mean, does everybody automatically think "teen romance", "giant robots", "everybody has new fantasy/sci fi powers" when they think of anime? I honestly agree, Tako... Anime is NOT about teen romance, giant robots, and fantasy/sci-fi powers. I imagine a KND anime being similar in respects to Gatchaman, save that the KND wouldn't dress up in bird outfits (except maybe Numbuh Three). Basically, the show would be like how it is now, save for the following differences: -It would've started out as a manga, possibly drawn by Tamu Waabaattan (^__^) and running in one of many magazines available there. This would, in turn, make the anime version more cohesive since they have a blueprint to follow. -We'd see things that make the team more cohesive. More team attacks, for example, and little (if any) of the "one character saves the day" syndrome the show currently has. -The two-by-four technology would probably be a lot more "down-to-Earth." IE they wouldn't have a flying schoolbus, not without an in-depth explanation. They'd probably get around on bicycles. -The use of weapons would be more realistic. No, I don't mean they'd be weilding machine guns or that people would die bloody deaths or things like that (Heaven forbid!), but the characters would react more realistically to impact--they wouldn't be taken out by having a teddy bear flung at them. And if Father got plastered with ice cream, we'd learn later that he caught hypothermia from it. -Episodes would be in chronological order, even if they're not involved in a story arc. If an episode ever took place outside the current timeframe, it would be clearly indicated as a flashback. -There would probably be a significant increase in villains who use giant robots (which is about the only thing I wouldn't like). -Rainbow Monkeys would specifically be a Numbuh Three thing, not applied to all girls in general. By the same token, Yipper would be a Numbuh Two thing, not something all boys enjoy. EDIT: I've just realized I've posted three different ideas on what a KND anime would be like... Wow, I AM an otaku.

Well, like I said in my post, (not sure if it was that clear, but...) I would like to see a KND anime that was a lot different from the show (I picture an anime where the KND members are young adults (seeing them as teenagers is okay, but I think that young adults would be more interesting) and where there's a continuous storyline). I just don't think that the genre would change, or that new elements (like giant robots/super powers) would be added.
