well, i was assuming they were using the girly-ray on girls, too. when Four called for help in the past, Numbuh Five had been blasted as well. Numbuh Three hadn't, 'cause she fits the way Margaret wanted all the girls (silly, super-girly and waaay too into rainbow monkeys) so considering they had no qualms about girly-ing up other girls in the past, i figured it would be a continuous thing. i just dunno how Sally escaped. maybe through trickery or something. Ohhh, I see. That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking that Numbuh 5 was more of an exception, rather than the rule, but your theory makes a lot more sense. I guess the thing that annoyed me about that episode was that all the girls that you saw had the same personality, even if they had been girlified to be that way. And even Sally, who wasn't really girly, liked rainbow monkeys.

Well, in the Rainbow Monkey context that makes sense, but in real life there are plenty of tomboy-ish girls who have soft spots for something silly and girly, like romance movies perhaps, or cute stuffed animals. I didn't find it that unusual that Sally liked R.Ms, but then she also wasn't so fangirlish over them (she saw it, "awww"ed it, and moved on).

That makes me glad too. I was afraid that maybe I was being too sensitive about that kind of stuff and maybe I was seeing things that weren't there because most people really liked Op. FUTURE. You think that's bad, try thinking that, yet at the same time being someone who is known for reading too much into stuff.

I 'm a romance queen too. and if i see ANYTHING that i consider cute i stop to go see it and squeel like no other person can. but...those monkeys....i hardly consider them cute, cool, loveable, or any of the adjectives from that area. I hate them beyond belief. That's something i didnt like about season 3. SOOOOO many things were of those things...we were talking about Operation FUTURE earlier, the rainbow monkey that Wally thought was a cheeseburger in AFLOAT, Nigel's briefs in BUTT(not a pleasant site), they showed them in ARCHIVE, 86's room in SLUMBER (oooohhh the HORROR!!), the whole setting in KASTLE, the big bottom rainbow/vampire monkey in LOCKDOWN, and i already talked about HUGS in the HUGS+JEWELS topic. I seriously hope they dont overdo the appearances of those things in S4. I've been A.R.M.(Anti Rainbow Monkeys) ever since i saw AFLOAT(the second episode i saw them in). so I just cant stand them. But thats just me.

You have to admit that the "Rainbow Monkey song" has an incredibly great tune, though, even if the lyrics aren't so great.

Personally, I'm indifferent to Rainbow Monkeys, they're cute of course, and I like the song, but They'll never replace My little pony or carebears in the space in my heart designated for cute furry strangley colored animals that talk and do things they shouldn't be able to. (Honestly, I hurt my brain even as a kid trying to figure out how the my little ponies baked pies and stuff O.O) Must be childhood nostalgia ^.^||||

Yeah, Rainbow Monkeys are stupid. But that's what Numbuh 4 said. I would do something manly like cars or something.

I used to be obsessed with "My Little Pony" when I was like 7 or 8 or something. Just like Kuki is with RM's. So she'll probably get over her obsession when she gets older. Like I did with MLP . But that's just me. EDIT: Hey it rhymes!

Yeah, Rainbow Monkeys are stupid. But that's what Numbuh 4 said. I would do something manly like cars or something. See, I liked the episodes with Rainbow Monkeys in which it does portray them as being "stupid" or "sappy". The best example is probably M.O.V.I.E. I mean, you see a bunch of Rainbow Monkey stuff, but the fact is it's just making fun of how STUPID it is. I think they should more or less keep Rainbow Monkeys at that level.

This is kind of unrelated, but here's some random rainbow monkey statistics:
Number of Times Rainbow Monkeys Play Some Part in a Kids Next Door Episode (not including minor stuff, like if you see a shot of Numbuh 3's room and there's a rainbow monkey, or something)
Season 1: 3 times: OFFICE, CABLE-TV, RAINBOWS
Season 2: 2 times: SPANK, MOVIE
Season 3: 8 times: FUTURE, AFLOAT, BUTT, ARCHIVE, SLUMBER, KASTLE, LOCKDOWN, HUGS
I may have forgotten a few operations, but as you can see, season 3 has far more appearances of rainbow monkeys (and also take into consideration that season 3 has only 10 episodes so far, while the other two have 13). In seasons 1 and 2, stuffed animals have several roles (in operations such as LICE, CATS, and THE-FLY) but the stuffed animals don't have any rainbow monkeys among them.
I mean, rainbow monkeys are cute, and I like them, but they're being way too overused, no?
EDIT: Also, have you noticed that they've started giving names and accessories to rainbow monkeys? I guess there are only so many colors of the rainbow that you can use for a line of toys.
