Hm, I wouldn't say that I'm anti-Rainbow Monkey. However, if there's another RM-centered episode, I might get some gray hairs.

Anti-Rainbow Monkeys, hehe. That makes me think of these grayscale versions that are evil. Anyway, Yeah, it was cute at first, but now it's just annoying.

I'll say. The Rainbow Monkeys have become WAAAYY too blasted predominant this season... it seems like every other episode we have to listen to some variation of the Rainbow Monkey theme song.
I personally thought that hearing little girls CHANT it was going a little too far.
I don't mind the monkeys themselves, however, just how much they're played up in the show suddenly.
(Seriously, there has GOT to be something the girls enjoy besides Rainbow Monkeys. Don't they even have BARBIE DOLLS?)

Yeah, I used to think that rainbow monkeys were so cute and a nice addition to the show, but now I'm just sick of them. The thing that I don't like about them is that EVERY single girl (except for maybe Numbuh 5) seems to like them. Not most girls. Or a lot of girls. ALL girls. It's really sickening.
In fact, that's why I really disliked Op. FUTURE. Oh, yeah, all girls are really weak and easily grossed out and collapse into hysterics at the smallest disturbance. And the most reliable way to detect a girl is to show her a rainbow monkey. Suuure.
That's why I don't like rainbow monkeys. They really should only appeal to a small fraction of the girl population, but somehow, nearly all girls are obsessed with them, for apparently no reason.

You know, ironically in my review of FUTURE, I was going to include a paragraph about how sexist the episode was, but decided not to because I thought people might find it offensive (or, more in the pattern of my life, think I'm reading too much into it). I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed and was disturbed by it.

The Rainbow Monkeys are okay with me. It's fangirling that annoys me, especially when it comes to *shudders* Shishi Wakamaru from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Oh yeah. No girl, not even Yukina, would come within 100 miles of Kuzuma Kuwabara. And I'm so sure using the Cloak of Death was absolutely fair.
Anyway, I think there are supposed to be SOME girls who would be forgiving and not very harsh, even if it is part of the reason they would be enigmatic. (Katie from "Operation: UTOPIA" WOULD come to mind, but she wasn't real in the KND universe.)

I'm glad I'm not the only person who noticed and was disturbed by it. That makes me glad too. I was afraid that maybe I was being too sensitive about that kind of stuff and maybe I was seeing things that weren't there because most people really liked Op. FUTURE. The Rainbow Monkeys are okay with me. It's fangirling that annoys me, especially when it comes to *shudders* Shishi Wakamaru from Yuu Yuu Hakusho. Oh yeah. Enigmatic? Katie? I am so confused. What the heck does this have to do with rainbow monkeys?

Okay. Let me address your questions. (This contains YYH spoilers along with an FE4 spoiler.)
-Fangirling - obviously, the girls in KND fangirl over Rainbow Monkeys. -Shishi Wakamaru - 4th opponent of Yusuke's team in the semi finals of the Dark Tournament (which I'm dubbing "Dork Tournament") in YYH. He is a demonic pretty boy with a lot of fangirls. -Yukina - Hiei's half-sister and also the love interest of Kuzuma -Kuzuma Kuwabara - the strong arm of Yusuke's team in YYH, with a code of honor to boot -Cloak of Death - dubbed the "Cape of No Return", this technique was used to send Kuwabara WAY TOO FAR out of the ring so that he couldn't get back on it soon enough, which is treated as instant death in the Dork Tournament. That's why it isn't in the least bit fair, since instant death techniques, especially since they typically don't cause any lasting damage to the user let alone take the user's life, are too cheap and would be banned from use in fair battles. -Forgiving - like Kuki forgiving Wally for destroying poor Mr. Huggikins and then not playing with her. (EVENTUALLY though.) -Enigmatic - means mysterious, which is what girls are. IT WOULD NOT MEAN THEY ARE EVIL! According to VGAP's FE4 FAQ, Diadora is a particularly mysterious girl. And guess what? Diadora is pure-of-heart AND......let's just say she becomes lucky, if only for a good short while. -Katie - from "Operation: UTOPIA" as I mentioned. Just take a good look at her personality before Nigel realizes he is watching Wally swim when he knows Wally can't swim.

Well, I was actually wondering more about the CONNECTIONS between all those words and the relevance they had to the topic.

Suuure. well, i was assuming they were using the girly-ray on girls, too. when Four called for help in the past, Numbuh Five had been blasted as well. Numbuh Three hadn't, 'cause she fits the way Margaret wanted all the girls (silly, super-girly and waaay too into rainbow monkeys) so considering they had no qualms about girly-ing up other girls in the past, i figured it would be a continuous thing. i just dunno how Sally escaped. maybe through trickery or something.
