I guess the original one got Archived or something.
Nothing shows how much the animation has changed, even from this first mission to the rest of season 1, than going back and watching it. Needless to say, I"m amazed at the difference.
And Nigel's first voice actor really DOES sound too old.
And Wally's accent is WAY more pronounced (and bad. XD)
Ah, gratuitous violence in the form of an electric fence. Perfect thing to have around a swimming pool.

I saw that episode and the animation looked weird. It looked different from others I've seen.

This episode was really different from the rest of the series. They didn't even have acronyms yet! And i'm glad Abby doesn't wear glasses EVER anymore (on screen). She's not the glasses type. Anyways, yea. Animations different and the whole plot was also different

This episode was different from the rest of the series as it was a piolet episode. It became popular then they made series 1.
Piolets alwys tend to be cheaper. =)

It really didn't impress me when I saw it. I was sitting there going "How the heck did THIS piece of junk win the contest?" but there was something about it even then....it was that the villains, the ever loveable Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb immediately showcased that the show would have some of the most interesting and charismatic villains ever. I watched the entire pilot, and I wasn't hooked, but I had to admit the art style and everything was rather interesting.
And a few years later, I'm a total KND fanatic.

It's the voices more than the art that gets me for the differences. Nigel's voice is WAY different. So is Mr. Fibb's. Kuki's isn't so bad, though the Japanesesque accent is more pronounced. Wally's got his moments of "ick..."

It's strange when Numbuh 5 wears glasses, but after the real cartoon was released, she doesn't have it anymore.
