Author's note: Okay..so...1. I'm a sap 2. I've never written a KP fanfic and 3. Due to the fact that Ron is scarily like my own bf, I tend to overly sugarfy the Kim/Ron thing...so...you're warned. If you don't like sap, sweetness, sachrine, cuteness, adorableness, sweetness or any words synonymous, back out now. For your own protection....also, I'm listening to the KP soundtrack, so....major overload.
Middleton: 5 years from now
"Soo....graduation," Ron said slowly, staring down at his feet. His girlfriend of more than five years, Kim Possible, eyed him suspiciously.
"Shouldn't you be ...you know? Celebrating? You should be happy. We both graduated --"
"And you, Miss Top of Her Class. One word - boo-ya!" He punched a hand in the air excitedly for her. She had studied to become a diplomat, though retained her crime fighting on the side.
Ron had followed in his father's footsteps, choosing actuary. He showed an odd talent for it, despite his lack of proficiency for typical maths.
"You did well, too," She offered. He smiled and grabbed her hand. "Really...I'm proud of you, Ron."
"Thanks, KP,"
"Ahem!" A flash of pink and Rufus was sitting on Ron's shoulder, tapping his foot impatiently.
"What's wrong, Rufus? Wanna go to Bueno Nacho?" Rufus shook his head. Instead of answering Kim, he instead glowered at his owner. Ron blinked innocently, not taking the hint.
"Heeellllooo!" the small rodent squeaked out, to the best of his abilities.
"Oh! Right! The plan! Okay, we just get in the car and ---"
Kim smirked and eyed him, sizing him up. Ron fell into stuttering. "I--uh-that is--...well we need to get in the car....because....it's...--it's so cold out here and --"
"Ron...It's the middle of June."
"Yeah, but it's a nippy June, you've got to admit."
"All right...what's going on?"
"Nothing. Nothing at all. Definitely not anything involving the car...nope. Nothing. Not at all."
"Stammering much?" Kim raised an eyebrow, but got into the car. Ron followed suit, but surprised her by sitting in the front. "What happened to the whole 'statistics say the front is bad' thing?"
"Special occasion, KP," He answered. Wade appeared on screen on the console in the middle of the dashboard.
"Hey, guys!" He waved cheerfully.
"Don't suppose you'd know what the sitch is, would you, Wade?" Kim asked, leaning over to watch him closely. He didn't look intimidated. Instead, he just smiled. A compartment switched over...revealing two gold rings. "...Do you really think I need the magnet rings? I'm not on a mission..."
Wade chuckled. "Check 'em out...they're not magnetic. And they're not from me. Bye, Kim!" The screen flashed for a second and then went black.
"You mean to tell me..." Kim stopped, staring at her boyfriend. "Oh..my ..gosh...Is this what I think it is?"
Ron frowned. "You know, I'm not a mind reader, Kim, how am I supposed to know if you're thinking that I'm asking you to marry me or if you're thinking that I got those for Rufus...." He paused. "You do know those aren't for Rufus, right?"
"So I figured," Kim said, leaning over to Ron and kissing him. "I do."
Author's note: So....it's not intended to be a one shot, but I might leave it as one. Feedback is helpful (anything but make the chapter longer....I'm bad at that. I usually just end up rambling and breaking away from the story too much)
