AU where numbuh 362 was taken to be the trophy in operation awards. After all she is the supreme leader and more worth to the KND then numbuh 1.

Good point. I imagine that the only reason she wouldn't be picked is that the Villains don't know where she lives, Unlike Numbuh 1, who is on the same street as Father (kind of makes him an easy target to track, I would imagine).
An alternate Universe where Numbuh Four's overall intelligence did not seem to degrade in the later episodes. Instead his interest in being a leader was developed as time progressed. (Thank you, Delattre for pointing out what I'd wrote here earlier. This is what I'd meant to say.)

I don't know, Rubywings. I feel that Numbuh Four's intelligence took a sharp dive after season 1, and pretty much stayed that way for the rest of the show. He did have some flashes of intelligence (for example, during Operation BREAKUP), but they were very few. Also, the one time he became Sector V's leader (in Operation CANNON), he didn't do a very good job.

I meant to say an AU where his intelligence did not degrade and that he actually did develope as a leader. Thanks for bringing up how I wrote that out. I'll correct it right now.

For some reason I always felt as if Wally was decommissioned he would actually be really smart. Or if he was decommissioned early (like by mistake) he would be a super genius. Like when fanny was decommissioned early she was kissing all the boys. She would be okay with boys if it happened on time. Any way...
An au where the kids from operation future happened to come back. Some how. Nigel's grand kid would be a LOT cooler then 1600

I'm sorry, but when I found out that one of the boys in that episode is probably Nigel's Grandchild, I couldn't help but think about the fact that he was turned into a girl at the very beginning of the whole mess. So, if this kid is Numbuh Ones grandchild... the implications are very awkward.
Still, that idea would be cool. I could picture something along the lines of the alternate universe surviving on a different time line than the KND we saw (there's a negaverse, so it seems perfectly plausible to me). When the timeline changed for the KND we see, Both Numbuh Four and Madame Margret from the AU could have been cut off from access because they were no longer in the same time line. In this alternate universe, the few surviving BND could find a way to reach across the new space time barrier for help, ending up reaching the KND. When they explain the situation, the KND might believe them because they had encountered the older Numbuh Four from that Universe already. Things could get even more complicated if Madame Margaret found out that there was a hole open to an alternate universe that was still full of boys.
Would you mind if I made a story based off of this idea in the future Rachel McKensie? I wouldn't have thought about it without you. Heck, if you'd like we could possibly do a collaborative story based off of it, if we could figure out how to do that over the internet.

Two New AU's based off of the ending of Operation Interviews (although they could possibly be combined):
One: Nigel finds out that the GKND used a slightly mind altering device shortly before approaching him, to increase the chances that he would agree to come with them (along with some of the other kids in the GKND) and rebels against those within the organization who have allowed this to happen.
Two: Almost immediately after Nigel disappears Father starts trying to find out where the boy went. Between all the nerds and Nigels team knowing what happened, someone soon slips up and he learns about Numbuh One's enlistment into The GKND (so much for adults not being ready for the knowledge). With this knowledge, Father realizes that there may also be other powerful villains and more technologically adept villains to look to as allies as well. He makes Evil Adult Industries (EAI) focus on space exploration technology, both to find Nigel and these Villains.
Meanwhile, Numbuh Three Sixty Two, who also wonders how Nigel could just vanish, starts to get suspicious as there is a remarkable reduction in the EAI's activities directly against kids. As she investigates, she finds out just what prompted the change in the Villains activities. She gets extremely angry, and pulls a team together to track down Numbuh One and give the GKND a piece of her mind for undermining her authority. Rachel decides to be one of the people who go's after him and appoints Numbuh Five to the position of Temporary Supreme Leader (much to Numbuh Five's horror) until she resolves the situation, no matter how long it takes.

If I write the story, it will be a while from now. I am pretty sure the fanfiction I am currently writing is going to be the start of a series. I may use this idea for one of the later stories.

An AU where Numbuh 274 does know that a Supreme Leader can make the rules, which causes him to make a rule where Supreme Leaders can't be decommissioned. It will lead to him being the Supreme Leader of the KND forever.

This is something I posted in the fanfiction section for unwritten ideas. I do go into a little more detail in this one.
It is actually a crossover with Courage the Cowardly Dog. It is in an AU where there was actually a splinter cell and it wasn't a cover for the GKND (like in one of my previous AU suggestions). The splinter cell creates a portable decommissioning device inspired by the recommissioning module. In an attempt to make Nigel work with them, they wipe his parent's memories of him, as well as those of all the adult relatives he has, except Father whom they are afraid of and whom they are sure Nigel wouldn't seek help from(which they would be right about). Splinter cell members work hard to wipe almost all evidence of the boys existence that can be found in the general adult community. They believe, with nowhere to run, he will cooperate with them.
Nigel ends up escaping and his travels lead him to Nowhere, Kansas. After catching on to the fact that the place is riddled with magical beings and objects, he decides to stick around and see if he can find anything that can help him fight the splinter cell, face the villains or restore his parents' memories. Along the way, he would meet Muriel and Eustace Bagg, their talking dog, Courage and the snooty attic computer (the latter two being a large help in his quest).
Of course, poking around Nowhere is not exactly a safe thing to do. With beings like dragons, psychopathic animals, monsters and cursed artifacts, Nigel isn't exactly having the time of his life. He is too afraid of what could happen to his teammates out there to call them in for back up. In a life threatening event, Nigel discovers he has inherited the horrifying powers that Father and Grandfather have(I'm kind of a big fan of the idea of Nigel inheriting those telekinetic powers). But for all the new abilities they give him, they seem to also attract more attention from dangerous enemies in this strange place. He ends up having to depend on his wits more than ever to survive, making powerful friends and enemies along the way.
Meanwhile, Father catches on to the fact that his brother and his sister-in-law have lost all memories of their son, who seems to have vanished without a trace. As he finds that none of the other adults outside of his villainous circle remember the bald boy's existence, he feels that Nigel has become his personal responsibility. He uses Evil Adult Industries resources and his own delightful children to try to track down and capture his nephew. Along the way, he finds out about the splinter cell and comes to consider it a viable threat. At the same time he searches for Nigel, he starts attacking them specifically, as well as the KND in general.
The Kids Next Door as a whole are deeply disturbed by the whole mess. They too are trying to track down Nigel and weed out the splinter cell, all while continuing their duties of protecting children from Adult Tyranny. As they work to find the members of the splinter cell, the atmosphere for whole organization becomes tense.
Sector V are desperate to find their lost leader and friend. As they track him, they have to be constantly on their guard, as both Father and the Splinter Cell are trying to spy on them on the chance that they might actually succeed in locating their leader.
Then Sector K (who are based in Kansas) stumbles across Nigel totally by accident and a massive cascade of events are set in motion that threaten to take the world for of both KND members and Villains alike and turns their understanding of it upside down.
And as for Nowhere, well, the events that take place would be weirder than usual but they're always dealing with weird and dangerous things anyway.
When I decided to do a KND fanfiction, I originally had trouble deciding between going with this AU or the one that I am currently writing. If I make a series from my story, How on Earth, which I'm now pretty confident is what's going to happen, I may have a crossover with Courage the Cowardly Dog later, since I didn't go with this.

Can you send me a link when you're done? An Au where Monty actually becomes evil rather than Benedict/Father. Can I read that? Like that would be awesome! Just to let you know I did this at two in the morning. So I don't really have a reasoning. -Fuchsia (royalty): Nigel -Violet: Kuki -Purple: Rachael -Indigo: Fanny -Cerulean: Abbie -Jade: Patton -Burgundy: Wally

I get that impression about Father as well. I actually have a one shot that touches upon the reasons Father may be so bitter that I started occasionally working on several months back. I'm actually planning on posting it soon since it may be a while before I have the next chapter for How on Earth posted, since I'm too busy to write much at the moment.
