Anyone who uses Adobe Photoshop, I need some help! I'm starting to get used to this program, and I'm wondering if there is a tutorial for the effect where one side of the face is light, and the other side is in shadow, like this one: www.impawards.com/1997/face_off.html

You could always use the Gradient tool. ...You know how to use that, don't you? I could make a small screenshot tutorial for you, if you want. That would be great!

OH!OH!! I KNOW!
you use the dodge and burn tools at a low opacity setting (if youre not sure, ill screenie them for you). But its gotta be on a different layer so you dont wreck the original

hehe, thats basically the Dodge and burn shown. Though, if you wait a lil bit longer, I have been introduced to another way of making things dark and light yet realistic at the same time. It just takes a heck of a lot more time mine you
