My Spring Break is all this week! Yay! But last week and next week is those stupid standard state tests. They're called the CSAPs. They're boring and easy. Yeah. Anyone want to talk about this?

Blah, is my school the only school that doesn't give Spring Breaks? lol... Ugh THEM tests. Here they are called SOL's yuck! Worst thing, we take ours the last week of school, how stupid is that?

Hehe, I have no standardized tests! I think it's because I go to a public school, but it's under the university, not the um... school unit thing. I don't know what they're called but they have a superintendent, you know? Anyway, I used to have standardized tests in Texas (TAAS tests) and in Illinois (ISATs), but not anymore. Yay. Actually, a funny story about ISATs:
In my Japanese class, my teacher said, "Aisatsu," which means "greeting," as in what you say at the start of class ("Stand up. Good morning. Sit down."), and a kid said, "What?! We're taking the ISATs?" -_-;;;
No spring break? That must stink, but I hope you have a shorter school year because of it.

You don't have to take em? Lucky... And you take Japanese? No fair, I want to. My school only offers spanish and recently french. Course, spanish is very useful around here.. Anyway, seems like every US state has to take stupid state tests. At least public schools do. Oh well. My school takes the scores and uses them to brag about.  My Own funny story about the CSAPs: CSAPs stand for Colorado Student Assesment Program, and they were considering naming it the Colorado Reading Assessment Program. And you know what that would spell. |

Hehe, I have no standardized tests! You don't!! Your sooo lucky!! I have them in Oct. every year..
I hate Standardized Tests!! They're, They're.... They're sooo loong and they give you verrrryyyyy little time.. which is NOT fair!! Man! why do we have to take these things anyway!! I mean come on! whats the point in taking them!!..... I hate them!! And it makes my brain hurt!

Lol sad huh? Well actually since the weather up here is sometimes bad right now we get out June 11. *  * you get to go outta skool on the 11th!! now.. i'm jealous of you.. lol j/k! i get outta skool like the 18th or 19th... [whatever is the Fri.] but i dont wanna go to 7th grade cause i will have 2 teachers that yell & scream really loud... I'm scare *hides under desk* lol ...but still sad for 343 cause she has no Spring Break.. |

August to June 11th?!!? My school is from August 25th to May 27th!  Suddenly, I feel lucky about my school.... although they DO give tons of homework at my school. I'm always complaining about homework. I wrote a speech about the negative health effects of homework, but I think most of my audience thought I was kidding. ;_; |

Except for the whole getting up changing classes lol blah, but at least you only have 2 I have 7!! In August!! wow! I come back in September!! Teachers: I had the 7th grade teacher last year (confusing, eh?? well its because the old 8th grade teacher left and some teachers switch grades and the 7th grade teacher choose the 7th grade [she used to be a 6th grade teacher] )--- if its still confusing, then I dont know how to explain it cause I'm starting to confuse myself now!--- sometimes its really hard to type somethings--- anyway she is scary!!! her test are really hard, she yells, she scream (is that the same thing??) she yells... And my friend classmate thinks she is kewl!! what is wrong with her!!!!! she likes her!! when i talk to the 5th graders about the bad stuff about her, she tells good stuff about her!! ok just because she let us watch Bendict Aronld-- with all the bloody stuff & stuff-- doesn't mean she kewl!!!! she scares me! last year.. everyday I dont wanna go to skool because of her... ( and because its boring too ) but everyday I fear that she will yell at me ( she yelled at my sister!!) I'm scared now.... * hides under desk again* lol well anyway... my other teacher is the 8th grade teacher... never had her yet... but she yells loud to.. heh... wow 7 teachers!! thats alot of teachers! (well for me cause I only had 2....) |

Lol lucky . But we do tend to get alot of snow here, well actually not alot, but lets say if the roads are just a tiny bit white school is closed ;D. Lol the teachers I have hardly ever give any homework. Sorry about ur speech tho . |

Ooo my 5th grade teacher was a monster! He would always yell at me, and for no reason! I hated him! Tho the next yr. in 6th grade I found out he got fired for selling drugs.  |

I've only had one snow day ever. It once snowed close to two feet and they still didn't close school. Anyway, My school year began in early august and gets out in late may. |

We have had 12 snow days lol. Wow only 1? Hmm well our school is cheap and can't buy buses that travel through snow, which is fine with me!
