I myself am pretty excited about this. The film doesn't beat the original, but it definitely qualifies for great and well put together.

I like the part where Rush's hat flies off, and he yells to Calypso, "Ya blew my hat off, ya ****!"

Me too, all the hat blows away are funny. Including I watched the previous 2 movies' bloopers.

Oh boy! Happy almost birthday. I'm hoping to get it for Christmas; it's on my wish list. Unfortunately, I don't own any of the movies, but I really would like them. Plus, this one's only available for a limited time, so I'd like to get it no later than Christmas.

I wonder if there's a Complete Trilogy set, that one suits for you, Flither, if you're rich that is.

A complete Trilogy set would be pretty cool. Including all the bonus features, of course. I could probably scrape up the money somehow. XD
[edit]
I feel bad for this movie now. Not that it's underrated, but movies like High School Musical and even Hairspray are getting so much credit compared to Verbinski's trilogy. When you weigh it against High School Musical, there's so much effort put into the PotC trilogy. And look at how successful those other ones are?
I'm not, in anyway, saying that PotC is underrated. I know it's not. But I don't see why HSM gets so much credit compared to Verbinski's masterpiece.

Even though I'm not fan of POTC, I'm not here to bash or anything. Just to simply state:
Simple. HSM has "omg zacefron" in the movie. He's a tween hearthrob(there words, not mine) and hsm has million of viewers because of the tweens love of zac. Same with hairspary. Plus, HSM is mainly for younger kids, and is more parent suitable than POTC, since the last 2 POTC were pg13.(werent they?)

Well, if you're going to buy the Complete Trilogy set, note that it's going to be expensive as much as like I wanted to buy the Lord of the Rings set too, which includes bonuses such as The Return of the King, which we see how Saruman died and the appearance of the Mouth of Sauron.

Hehe. Well, that's just it. I don't understand that in any way, shape or form. And if
BTW: Apparently, Hairspray didn't do so well. That's why it came onto DVD so quickly.
My sister's 12 and she loves Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't think the rating really matters much anymore. Except in some theatres, but we don't go to those some theatres or rent from those some video rental stores. And yeah. the second two were PG-13, which was a good idea, because if it was PG, there would probably be protests, since even I closed my eyes when the birds were poking the man's eyes out, which is weird for me because I'm quite a gorey person.
The first movie was definitely fun for the whole family. The second and third were more for young adults. But if their going to choose HSM over PotC, then where this world has come to is beyond me.
I suppose I'm being a little critical, since, kind of like the couples in KND, people have certain interests when it comes to their movies. I just so happen to choose a mixture of action, humor, adventure, romance, etc. (i.e: Transformers, Lord of the Rings..) over corny high school movies (i.e: High School Musical).
