A: if you've got what it takes, they'll find you. but they only take the best of the bestest best's third cousin's best bester bested best friend's best operatives.
and then you have to pass the really hard written test!

Q: So Abby really knows how to hack into computers?
A: most KND operatives are trained in the basics but most end up playing video games instead of paying attention.

So, Nigel's probably the second-oldest.

Which would mean Abby would have been turning 12 in MAURICE, since it's confirmed that she's the oldest.

Wow, she really IS almost a teenager.

It's simple deduction. We know Abby is the oldest. We know Nigel turned 11 in JEWELS. So, if Abby's birthday is after Nigel's, she must have been turning 12.

So why is she 3 years behind in school-- the typical 10 year old is in 5th grade, so they're ALL behind. And even if we ignore that, she'd still be 2 years behind.

Maybe they have late birthdays. My birthday is in December and I am usally one of the oldest in my class, and I never was held back. I was also 9 going on 10 when I was in 4th grade.

I read somewhere that the ages went (from highest to lowest), Abby, Wally, Hoagie, Nigel, Kuki, which would make sense, when you think about it. We saw Nigel's birthday first in JEWELS, then Kuki's in FAST-FOOD, and then the cycle begins again with Abby's in MAURICE.

I have it STRAIGHT from Mr. W that all they know is that Kuki is the youngest and Abby is the oldest.
