I loved Sheep in the big city =).
However I thought I read somewhere Mr W plans to spend time with his family.

But he will be back into making cartoons again in the future, as he may come up with brand new cartoon material in the future, or maybe something else, but what will these new cartoon series be, we won't know yet. Anyhow, the KND/Grim crossover will be extra special and it's well worth looking forward to.

And so ends an era that began in 1994 (?) with Dexter's Laboratory....

I remember, back when I used to watch CN religiously. Do I think most new cartoons are bad because I'm aging, or because they are bad. I mean, I love Dexters Laboratory, I love Ed Edd and Eddy and etc. But I never liked when they changed the sytle of DL. Is it just me or do you think the quality of cartoons has decreased?

Animation has turned to simplistic styles ever since the Internet came along. Simplistic-type drawings are much easier to compress as data and thusly, easier to webcast. I once saw a Johnny Quest parody on CN.com, and the "modified" style of JQ really didn't translate well for a webcast. Now, with broader bandwith available, hopefully, the simplistic era will end and something more complex (and hopefully better stories) will arise.

news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=15126These new shows, with the exception of "Chowder", look extremely LAME. Especially "Flapjack" (WTF) and (sickening) "Re-Animated". I'll turn the TV off instead of throwing my sneakers at it. Who greenlights these shows, anyway?

Whoa, whoa... candied island? They should have gone with the pre-Guatemala misadventures of Abby and Heinrich.
And Re-Animated sucked as a movie. And most movies turned into series suck even more than the movie. So by doing this, they shall create a black hole within the Television that will suck every viewer into a dense vacuum from which they will never escape.
We're doomed...
The flying pie sounds interesting, though.

Most of the leaders of the KND don't seem like the type who would let Mandy boss them around. Hmm.....Fanny vs. Mandy? Mandy does seem to have Jedi powers, has anyone noticed that? in what episodes are those jedi powers you speak of?

I saw an episode where we see her house and her parents. She used the Jedi Hand Wave to get off from doing homework.

The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack is about a falsetto-voiced boy raised by a talking whale whose tranquil life is upended when he rescues an old pirate, Captain K’Nuckles, from a shipwreck. The pirate captain then charms Flapjack into searching for Candied Island, a magical island filled with lollipop flowers and lemonade springs. Mayhem always ensues. The series is created by Thurop Van Ormon
Famed Mexican wrestler El Hijo del Santo (son of Santo), will work with executive producer Carlo Olivares Paganoni to develop Santo (working title), an adventure/fantasy series set in Mexico City. The series will have the brave and young Santo inheriting the silver wrestling mask from his father and then learning how to manage an array of mystical powers with the guidance of Cóatl, an ancient feathered serpent. Santo will use his new powers to defend justice and teach good values inside and outside the wrestling ring as he faces enemies ranging from everyday criminals to genetically enhanced mystical villains. Alex Soto of Ben 10 will act as supervising producer on the series. Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank is producing thirteen half-hour episodes
... I feel dumb by just reading all this dumbness.

Don't judge these shows until you see them. ...Then you can judge all you like. It's possible that the descriptions just make them sound extremely stupid when they're actually very well done. And you don't need to worry about the declining quality of cartoons. It's cyclic, it'll be fine. Also, it's subjective. People have pointed to KND as an example of how low cartoons have got as well.
On topic, I think this crossover sounds good. I think the two universes work well together, though I don't actually like the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

yeah I havent seen it, but you don't really have to with this promo plot O.O sounds kinda like an insane(er) Willy Wanka guy who's a captian who stole Sonic's third important character's name and put capp'n in front O.o and well I fear CN as we know it will be horrible from then on, I saw re-animated too and man it sucked in my opinion, the acting was offal and the whole time I wanted the star to die and the evil dude to run him over by a train (sry if I sound harsh, it comes from being raised with two brothers XD) man...I sure hope Mister W has another series in store eventually or CN will go down the drain, exsept for fosters, and since both Billy and Mandy and KND is ending there will be nothing left, even though I'm not into B&M I must give them credit for keeping up as long as KND all this time. at least we will know that KND and B&M will be about ended with a higher note, cause the crossover's gotta be pretty funny, after seeing the cameo I'm extremely interested XD
