You know guys, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if ya'll aren't reading too much into this.
Remember when it was announced that Op. ZERO would feature a kiss, and everyone went overboard speculating, and then when the kiss happened it was between a kid and a zombie and didn't even have a romantic context?
Same thing here. We're all thinking in terms of dramatic possibilities, the kinds of things you would expect from a fanfic, not the show. More than likely, the member who "doesn't return from the mission" will have simply been held up in traffic or something, or maybe the mission is to order a pizza and they never come back because they're still trying to decide what toppings they want, or something like that. Or maybe the mission involves going to a skating rink. And skating. And that one member isn't ready to go home yet.

I know we're speculating too much... but I just want a little clarifacation... did he say a member of the PRESENT Sector V? or could they mean a past one?
Because I don't know how many read the KND Blog but there was a picture of young Nigel and young Chad shaking hands... so maybe they could be meaning either Cree or Chad?

I know we're speculating too much... but I just want a little clarifacation... did he say a member of the PRESENT Sector V? or could they mean a past one? The announcement simply said "one of the kids," nothing I've read yet has said its a member of Sector V (though it probably is).

Funny thing about this. I had a dream the other night about Numbuh 86 getting caught in the crossfire during a battle and ending up in a wheel chair and asking to be decommissioned.
A vision? Or just my overactive imagination.

I'm actually happy about this. Not because I think the show sucks... Would I have 5,000 posts and be made admin if I thought KND sucked? But I love series finales for stuff I care about, and I'm hoping they won't end on too much of a downer ending. Can't wait for November. abit off topic but just noticed i get that fish joke since im an old school gamer Hooray for Oldschool gamers who know THE FISH! The DOPEfish! ...Right?

We're all thinking in terms of dramatic possibilities, the kinds of things you would expect from a fanfic, not the show. More than likely, the member who "doesn't return from the mission" will have simply been held up in traffic or something, or maybe the mission is to order a pizza and they never come back because they're still trying to decide what toppings they want, or something like that. Or maybe the mission involves going to a skating rink. And skating. And that one member isn't ready to go home yet. You have a very good point there, it’s happened before, and maybe that's why he put an evil smilie. But I actually would prefer it being more dramatic, I mean if there was no action romance and drama KND might be a little slow and would be as cool as it is now. I’d like to see what happened in ZERO and IT, surprises and the drama with a little humor that Mr. W’s famous for. Now about the operative “not returning” there are so many possibilities, I would prefer a little bit of drama and have somebody either, get captured, decommissioned, or at least sacrifice something then end at a happier note when they somehow save the member of the team and/or find a way to get the teammate back. Now hmmm let me think about this, if it is like being decommissioned I would think it would be Numbuh Five, she has shined a lot in the show as the operative known to put her life in danger to help her teammates so maybe she gets decommissioned to save somebody, or she’s at that age. Numbuh One also has done a lot to prove himself, if ya watched ZERO ya saw he noticed he needed to put his team before himself and on op WHITEHOUSE he was actually willing to die rather then doom the kids next door, but because of his age being eleven it’s unlikely unless he intestinally was decommissioned. Numbuh Two, you know I don’t know about Hoagie, he doesn’t seem like the operative that would shock everyone and not return I just don’t see it in his character unless again it’s for his team, but why would it be him? Taking out the many couple wars I don’t see any reason why it would be him. Numbuh Three has gone totally evil before so maybe something could drive her to that point again, or she tries saving somebody, or she just gets captured. Ok now to tell you the truth I would prefer it being Numbuh Four, because Numbuh One and Numbuh Five have gotten all the proof that they are very loyal, other then his opposite being evil (but that might just be because it was a star trek parody) Now I would just die if it was him but if it was anybody that sacrifices his memory I’d want it to be him, maybe he’d give it all up to save somebody, Numbuh Three most likely (speaking from a non ¾ point of view, it’s just there is solid proof he likes her) K I think that most likely it would be Numbuh Five or Numbuh One, although I think it would be better to have it Either Numbuh Two Three or Four. Too bad that it’s come to it’s end, I guess it had to come at some point but it really makes me feel offal knowing there’s only so many episodes before it’s over, and that I will never tune in on a new episode ever again. I have a bit of an idea, kind of off topic but maybe the forum could make a big internet card or something to send to Mr. Warburton and his team to show how much we appreciate him, I don’t know just an idea. Man this sticks, I don’t want it to end least we can know that Mr. Warburton will make these eppies count, and it won’t end in disaster (like powerpuff’s last season XD) they are putting their heart and soul into these episodes so that dose make me feel better, but well it’s just sad I almost jumped out of my socks finding this out, but as many have said before in this topic “awesome things must come to an end at some point.” But it’s just too bad it’s true and it dose have to end…

Perhaps "not returning" means that someone will get transferred/promoted to the Moonbase? In my fanfic "Operation FIGHTER" I mention the possibility of Wally joining the Elite Guard.

unless he intestinally was decommissioned.. I know what you meant here, but that just gives me images of a new method of decommissioning, where they give you something to drink and you end up pooping out all your knowledge of KND... *is shot*
