Im kind of wondering if this series will become legendary. What I mean is if 20 years from now if I see my son/daughter watching a KND episode I could tell them that that show is what I watched when I was still young. Do you think that KND will even do reruns for that long. Will it be put on boomerang in 20 years? Or 30? Post your opinions.

I'm pretty sure KND will still be around in some form, possibly DVD.
I mean, Jonny Quest was made in 1969 and lasted only one season... now the whole series is on DVD in a boxed set and every once in awhile attracts new fans.
What you have to look out for, is the crappy revival attempts...

It will likely achieve cult status, like people hanging out on message boards, and making various references to it, and making it synonymous with the early 2000's and their childhood.

I agree, KND will join the ranks of programs like Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Damger Mouse, The Prisonner, Time Tunnel, The Flintstones, Scooby Doo and Star Trek as cult TV.
People will be talking about the KND for years to come.

making various references to it. That's unpossible! ;D Too many good lines to just throw away due to cancellation. I really couldn't predict a legend, but there has always been something different about KND. As in different from everything else on TV. The fact that it stars a bunch of preteens nonwithstanding. So if I had to pick a series to join the ranks of Scooby Doo and the Flinstones, this would be it.

I'm not sure if it'll become a legend, but I agree with Suki--the whole reason I got into it is because it isn't your average cookie-cutter cartoon.
I've been watching cartoons for over 10 years (since I have kids, obviously, and older nieces/nephews), and I never saw anything like KND. Something about it drew me into it--and I'm still into it. Funny, because I lost interest in most of the other cartoons I got into within a year.

I'm sure this will be a show on Boomerang 20 years from now.

Heck, this show will probably be on Boomerang FIVE years from now. Boomie already plays Baby Looney Tunes and that came out like two years ago!

Yes, but I wouldn't exactly dedicate Boomerang as an epitome of legends. Some shows are, some aren't. As for KND winding up on there...I honestly don't know. I really hope so, and it's a show I'll make sure to buy on DVD for my kids when I have them (and try to get my niece to like when her parents aren't looking...)

I doubt it'll really be remembered 20 years from now... at least, not by anyone other than us here in the forum... And I don't really think there will be season DVDs. KND doesn't seem to be getting enough love from cartoon network for season DVDs...
