I rotate my fandom i'll go from one to another so eventually I come back to each one. I recently (kind of) got out of my pokemon craze. I love RSE and DP.. Never really liked black and white much I love DP but with the few black and white episodes I saw they were alright. Still perfer the ones I grew up with. I'm more into the anime rather then the games |

The forum has gotten more quiet because the most active people on it have slowly moved onto other things, myself included, though I was never hugely active. Sadly, I don't know where many people have disappeared to over the years. But this is the nature of the internet. Most fandoms eventually grow so old that joining one is a bit like being an anthropologist, studying the remains of a once great but now dead civilization. But with luck, some people will return and reinvigorate our beloved forum with life  |

This is depressing. You have to find a new forum/community/whatever since this one is dying and the cycle repeats itself over and over. I guess I'm going back to square one and having to meet new people.

It's been over four years since the last new episode of KND ended, but, that doesn't mean you have to be sad. Aside from sharing your fandom with other like minded people, forums are also for meeting new internet friends and connecting with them. If you don't have any way of contacting someone you know on the forum who is no longer here, start by sending them a PM so it's archived on their account here. You can also try to send the same message to them on Fanfiction.net and/or DeviantArt--many fans have accounts on one or both. This may help you reconnect with someone you miss. |

Now, I know I've mentioned this before, but KND has had a weird fanbase surge on Tumblr, and it's actually gotten surprisingly larger. A lot of ask blogs and roleplay accounts as well as fanartists and stuff have spawned over there. It's actually weirding me out a little bit, but I don't mind it. I know it doesn't relate a ton to the forum, but I think it's worth pointing out.

Hmm... I may have to go for some ambivalence about this. I remember my initial endeavors with Allie and lillyfan123, as well as Lord Malachite, numbuh9494, and musicalhottie. I've also enjoyed my past conversations with others who have differing perspectives, especially Golde and prettywitchiusaka. On the other hand, for some reason, I doubt anyone even needs to guess which fandom I've devoted my time to supporting these past several months, especially given everything I've learned in that amount of time. If anything, I was surprised to learn just how continuous my thought processes ended up being all this time, but maybe that's just my experience.
