Another great installment of KND Op: SPANK: I like how they took a minor, throw away character from season one and fleshed him out. I actulay felt sorry for the sicko-spanker at some points. of course we can all see he needs help getting over his fedish. (he spanked Numbuh 3's dolls for heavens sake) But after seeing what kind of power he really has, it's good to know he has a moral code of ethics (not spanking good kids.) And i liked the surprise ending. (Not the obvious one, the one #3 confessed at the very very end about the little boy in the beginning) Little highlights: The Kids covering their butts when Spanky appeared. When Spanky is telling them a story and #3 shows the quick range of her ADD. Wink and Fibb. "Mommy!" Kuki snarling at spanky Operation: DATE: Ah coupling. Wally and Kuki are perfect together, no questions asked. Lizzie and Nigel on the other hand...uhh...that's still up for debate. But we learn a little more about thier relationship and how strained it can get. By the end I was almost convinced that #1 had dumped Lizzie for good. But instead her obliviosness and singlemindedness cause her to save the say and he forgives her and takes her back. But let's take this as an oppurtunity to exsamine Nigel's character. From the start we see the amount of his hatred for the Delightful children and how the mission immediatly consumes all thought in his head. While everyone else wants to have a good time, he can't stop being paranoid. Of course we all know that the DC are up to something but the point is, Nigel is obsessed. Also he's easily embarrased and may be focusing more on the mission to avoid feeling embarased. (Notice when he's dancing with Lizzie at the end and he's got that squiggly smile. He's forgetting about the mission at that point.) Also notice in lizzie's room, all the pictures of Nigel have him obscured in some way. He doesn't like to have his picture taken. At then end once the mission becomes "real" he becomes totally obesessed again and focused on self preservation as well as protecting Lizzie, who is so focused on the date she doesn't notice what's really going on even though its right in her face. Now for the "break up." Nigel saves the day and wants a final showdown with the DC. Lizzie scolds him for being a bad date and he scolds her back for thinking it was a date in the first place. The clash of two obsessions. Lizzie's obsession is Nigel and Nigel's obsession is the KND. When Lizzie is "dumped" You do kinda feel sorry for her since Nigel is all she really cares about. But she doesn't take no for an answer and goes after him with the intent to splash him with punch, Which ends up saving him by mistake. But because she causes mission success, Nigel throws himself at her. "Lizzie! You're Brilliant!" Notice Nigel's face during the time Lizzie's yelling at her. He looks sorry for the beginning but once she brings up date, he looses it and yells back telling her he doesn't care and brings her flaw her her attention, but in turn still posesses his own. Nigel's true love is always going to be the KND. But he and Lizzie do have alot in common, their obessions, they both posess passions for something they pursue until the very end. The difference, Nigel's obsession helps people, whereas Lizzie's is selfcentered. Ok enough of that... Highlights: Kuki and wally dancing. (so cute together) Nigel spying "analysis shows this is...cherry flavored" Lizzie's room. Lizzie's hair (Princess Leia buns!) The delightfullized KND. (Was it just me, or did #5 look like Laura Limpin with the glasses and her hair in pigtails?) Nigel and Lizzie in the closet. (Hehe, put your own dirty thoughts here. ) The end with them holding hands Fav lines: "Your hienies belong to me!" "I'll be your best friend." "Don't touch it!" "We'd love to join you...Where are we going?" __________________ ~Look for me at Fanfiction.net~

SPANK I didnt much care for, so lets skip it for now. As for DATE Well Pentical beat me to it. But I will agree that Nigel does have an obsession problem... and Im glad that Abby finially told him to "Chill Out", however lets not over look the fact that Nigel was right! His paranoia was not in vein, as the DC were up to no good... If Nigel hadnt of noticed... well there would go the neighborhood. Theres a reason he's Numbuh One, and thats it! As for Nigel and Lizzie.. well its no joke I .. "support it" for frankly the fact that I believe theres somthing there that we just arnt seeing. Why else would Nigel take her back at the end of Op "LIZZIE" AND at the end of Op "DATE" ? He took her back both times on his own and without hesitation. As far as him being embarassed around her.. thats all it is. Hes eleven years old, and where as his main priorty is the KND, he still has an outside life and Lizzie is apart of that. And my theroy on why she hovers around him is because he NEVER gives her any attention... in which Im sideing her on this one. Nigel has his responcibility as the leader... but the least he could do is call her up once in a while (to go on a mission dosnt count!). What Nigel needs to do: Lighten up, be more comfortable and relaxed around Lizzie. What Lizzie needs to do: Give the poor guy some space! They're both guilty, but as we've seen. No matter how bad the fight, those two are both attracted to each other. Its NOT a one sided relationship. Hense my signature pic and quote. ^_~

I agree with Jess, Spank i didn't like all that much. The spanking got a little annoying, but it was okay. I liked the end at least.
Date, however, was AWSOME! "Delightfulized", hehe. My brother mistaked Abby for Laura Limpin in the first place too. Maybe that does imply that Numbuh 5 needs glasses. I don't know. I also liked the 3/4 in the ep. Numbuh 4 looked soo cute when he grabbed 3's hand. ^_^ Anyway, I really liked this episode. Quite funny.

I've been searchng for awhile to get in on the great D.A.T.E. debate, so here I go:
First off. I don't see anything wrong with 2/5 as a couple. It actually makes sense in a way, considering Hoagie's desire to be a witty superhero. With Abby backing him up and giving him pointers, he just may reach that plataeu of greatness. The cool, slick agent is the epitome of everything Hoagie wants to be, so it's only natural he'd be attracted to her.
Lizzie seems to have made the transition from being sinister and vindictive to just being selfish and whiny. But though she is no longer a villianess, she still hasn't developed enough benevolent qualities to balance out her faults. Personally, I almost like her, since she is kinda cute and funny, as well at upbeat when she's not screaming at Nigel. (some of which is understandable; he really was a big, bad date) I think if she had some sort of trial, she'll pull through as a much more palatable character. (think: C.S. Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe")
In short, try to not think of this episode as the destruction of 1/5, but rather the inclusion of 2/5 and 1/L. Two couples which, when creativity is applied, will yield results just as interesting as the other couples.

Lizzie seems to have made the transition from being sinister and vindictive to just being selfish and whiny. AHAHAHAHAHA!! LOL! OMG Thats the best quote about Lizzie I have ever heard! And its so true!! Aww But we love her anyway! And yes, I agree with you about 2/5 to an extent... however Im still going with just because their different sex dosnt mean they have to be a couple...part of the KND is the friendship that holds it together. Plus... We know now that Hoagie has a die-hard crush on Abby's older sister, Cree. As far as Lizzie and Nigel. I think they are cute! I mean Nigel still likes her, obviously... there must be SOMTHING bewteen those two we just arnt seeing. And Nigel can be selfish and whiny too. XD But thats what makes him cute!

I can't seem to recall this happening in any episode yet aired--usually she just criticizes his one-liners.

I think RisanF means if Abby were to give him pointers... Right. It's basicly a fanfic idea I've come up with. But I believe it has as much potential as a typical senerio for a more popular couple, like 1/5.

I didn't see the E.L.I.M.O.N.A.T.O.R.! Where is it in D.A.T.E.?! Also, the KND computer never mentioned it either!
