Can I nominate myself? I try to be on here everyday, even if I'm not logged in I'll still come by and look around. I'm pretty fair too. I also vote Nit because he comes on everyday and is pretty fair when it comes to making decisions.

I DO actually have some reasons to want to be a mod, other than what people are saying, that I'm just nice. But as I said, I'm not BENT on it. I just want to let everyone do their own thing. I'm quite a go with the flow person. Unless something is obviously wrong and something really needs to be done, I'll leave things be or go along with it.

Not that this means I wouldn't try to improve the forum. I would. But, no, I wouldn't yell at anyone for cursing or joking around as you tend to.

I nominate myself to be a mod. Madame Hoagie's Gal trusted me with the job when it was time for her to go, and I mentally promised that I would not fail her. That backfired do to a level of overwhelmed and heated conversation in a forum game, but that was all in the past. I believe I'm ready for another try, and this time, I'll going to rock this forum hard; so much that there will be fireworks exploding everywhere. I may not have enough support right now, but I've been on here for quite a few years. I love Kids Next Door, I'm friendly, patient, and I've got a whole lot of heart. But sometimes I need to lay down the law; I wasn't the president of my concert choir two years for nothing! I am a leader, and this forum needs another leader again.

Speaking of what this forum needs... The forum needs fun, and boy howdy, would I be the one to bring the fun! There are certain members that need to lighten up around here but they can always take their time. There's no need for everyone to go crazy. Not terribly wild, but more of a... Pinkie Pie Bash, if you know what I mean.

If there's a problem, don't make it worse! Let me help out, and together, we can make whatever work. If is anyone is roughhousing up in an RP don't get your undies in a bunch! Just move along and ignore that member who is trying to rile you up. If he or she continues, feel free to contact your friendly member Allie so she can work her magic.

I come on enough where I'm able to be a mod, I've also been here for years! I know how to deal with the sense of humor that the mods here already have! Also, As you can see I'm not afraid to express my opinion and if you actually take the time to get to know me you'll find I'm pretty fair.

Does this mean I'll get your votes? Most likely not! Do you know why? Because everyone here seems to want the people who post 3 words in the damn game forum! I make posts! Yes, they are FUNNY and it's not trolling and anyone who thinks otherwise obviously Doesn't get that.

I actually post and contribute more to this place then most of the people who want this job! I talk about other things besides the KND in hopes of keeping this place alive and all I've been told is I'm "Trolling" You guys need to understand were not 10 year old KND operatives in a cartoon where swearing doesn't even exist! Everyone here is over 13 and they still have a tendency to over react to things that get posted.

Honestly? I have a few good ideas that I would like to try!

I would love to plan something for you guys for Christmas that I'm sure you would love! I'm also willing to have contests and fun things in this place to keep people interested. I would like to clean up this place a bit and what I mean by that is delete the 0 posting users! Also, I care about what you guys want because this is YOUR forum as well and if I become mod the first thing I would ask is what would YOU guys like to see done and if it's with in reason, I'll do it the best I can.

I know how fun this forum used to be and I would like the users who never got a chance to see how it once was to possibly get to see it. I would love to personally have a chance to do it.

The problem is people do think I troll, look past it! If you do you'll realize I'm only having fun and some people who complain are just over reacting.

Not that this really helps me but I think my reason is pretty damn good

Thank you very much, I'm very touched to see all these people in favor of me for the position. I heard the question pop up earlier, so I would like to say that I have quite a bit of free time and should be able to reach the forum every day (unless something unexpected comes up). I have the time to be a mod.

This sums it up and this way is just easier! People keep changing their minds and it's getting confusing so just read and then hit a button! You can only do it once so pick carefully and read everything.

Glad there's a poll now! Just wondering, is there an official time when the voting is over? It might be good, so we are certain that there's enough time, and nobody is ending it just as their favorite is in the lead or something.

Also, I really like that you and Allie have written sort of speeches about what you have to offer. I'll admit that I didn't have the best reasons to offer about Nit, other than making assumptions about his character, and I apologize. I just don't really know all that much about anyone. I was going to suggest that everyone who is running take a crack at writing a few self-promotional paragraphs, but I wasn't sure how you guys would feel about it. I'm going to think about it a little longer before I vote this time. ^^

I was just going to leave it open until Comsie comes on and picks or makes the mod offical.

I still haven't voted yet, I refuse to vote for myself. I don't think that would be right.

I'm just hoping this stops the fighting! Either that or Comsie can just pick someone.

Ah, yes. An election for a new moderator could clear things up, with regular forum members pitching in and voicing their opinions. If it helps, Allie and InterestingNit are my certain main choices, so to speak, for this task, most likely due to recognition on my part, and I could ponder a window of about two or three weeks to leave this poll open, if mainly to be certain.

That sounds like an appropriate amount of time to me. I really don't see the harm in having Comsie leave it for a while. IMHO, if people start to argue about it, or it creates drama... heck, let it. Whatevs. :]

Nonetheless, Allie does actually seem like she could be a good choice. She has been here for quite some time, and, well, honestly, the reasoning has been said many times.

You know what? I voted. For Allie.

The more I've thought about it, I think she deserves the job far more than I do. Heck, she was even nominated by Madam Hoagie's Gal. I find that she has the most valid reason here, and I think that she is overall, very good mod material.

I honestly just want what's best for the forum, and, I think that Allie's the best choice. Sure, I may have wanted the job, but I mentioned before as well. I am in fact, a go with the flow type, and at this point, that is what I am doing. I'm happily going along with the fact that Allie deserves it.

And honestly, thinking about it more, I don't think I could handle a mod position at this point in time. Things have been crazy for me. I've been having anxiety problems, a lot of schoolwork, sickness, psh, you name it really. I'm quite backed up already.

I wish Allie the best of luck.

Hello. I'd like to say that I've followed through on one of my promises before I become a mod. I've created a big contest in the Forum Games similarly to what Dock Penguins did.

I am officially a candidate for the position of moderator for the forums. I may not be the oldest member in terms of the amount of time here (my age is a different story though). I’m certainly not bursting with energy like some of the users here. While I might not be the most talented or have a lot of experience on the boards like some users here, I am still able to bring something to the table. I’ve had several years of experience of being on the internet and dealing with people online since the second half of the 1990s, which is before message boards started being UBB-style. It is because of this experience that I’ve matured into a user who is willing to help bring the forum from its current downpoint and prosper forward. I also have and deal with a challenging, around the clock, career from which I learned to balance out things in general and deal with large amounts of stress without exploding. Thank you for your time and Argentine out!

Not that it makes a difference, but I wound up deciding to vote for Allie. She's got experience, she's active, and she's honest, but friendly.

I'm glad so many anonymous people voted. :] I know it's not a buttload, but more than a handful is still pretty good for what we got.
