The next morning while everyone else was having breakfast Numbuh 2 knocked gently on the door to find out if the dcfdtl were awake or still asleep

The Delightful Children were sitting up straight in their bed,staring at a wall blankly,they slowly turned their heads,studying numbuh 2 with their glassy light blue eyes. They climbed out of the bed,walking over to the operative in group formation."That depends,what is it?"They asked in unison.

Numbuh 2 told them they had cereal and if they didn't want that there were muffins and toast

The Delightful Children appeared to be thinking. "We'll just have muffins"They said in unison.

so after telling the delightful children what they had Numbuh 2 went and poured himself a bowl of cereal and sat down next to Numbuh 4


could somebody pass me the milk? Numbuh 2 asked

The Delightful Children were sitting at the table,quietly eating their muffins,Bruce set his down,handing Numbuh 2 the milk,his expression practically emotionless,like the rest of the Delightful Childrens were.

as they continued eating breakfast Numbuh 3 took notice of how the dcfdtl look so "dead"


How come you guys never smile? Numbuh 3 asked

The Delightful Children stopped eating,setting down their half eaten muffins down on their plates,turning their heads slowly to look at numbuh 3. Their expressions still quite blank. "Beacause Kuki,few things make us happy,we only smile when its nessacary,which isnt that often,we dont smile just for the heck of it,few things bring us happiness anymore..."The Delightful Children said,looking down at the table,their expressions turning a bit sad,though most of the reason this was because they were delightfulized,and no longer as carefree as regular kids were.

after that response it became very quiet no one spoke as they continued eating and Numbuh 3 felt bad for them seeing how they couldn't enjoy things like they could she thought about talking to Numbuh 1 about it later


I'll think of something we can do for them. Numbuh 3 thought to herself

The Delightful Children finished eating their muffins,standing up from the table and placing their dishes in the sink,something they were used to doing."Were going back to the room now"The Delightful Children said in monotone,walking out of the kitchen silently in group formation.

after the delightful children left the room and everyone else had finished eating Numbuh's 2 and 4 went to play video games while Numbuh 5 went back to her room as for Numbuh 3 she went to go talk to Numbuh 1


There's something I want to talk to you about? Numbuh 3 said

The Delightful Children were standing in group formation at the window of the infirmary,looking up at the sky,their expressions blank and practically emotionless again.Simply looking at the few clouds that were in the blue sky.

while Numbuh 3 talked to Numbuh 1 about something they could do for the dcfdtl and coming up with a good idea wasn't easy


How about we take them to an amusement park? Numbuh 1 suggested

The Delightful Children were sitting on the bed now,Lenny had found a needle and thread,and now Ogie,who knew how to sew,was sewing up some of the rips in their blue suits,and hers and ashleys sailor suits.
