[...unWARP!!!]
Good evening.
HOLY GUACAMOLE!!
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST GIGAHUGELICAWESEOME EPISODES OF THE ENTIRE SERIES!!!
Who said that KND has jumped the shark? We're just barely starting, honey!!
Many things explained, many revealed. Many...shocking moments, many momets of laughter, man, I was laughing EVERYWHERE here!!
Now at first I thought we were going to see a spoof from The Temple of Doom, and then I thought, "A nuclear explosion in 1800?"
I really can't add that much to what all you guys have already said, this ep just really blew the rest out of the water.
OPERATION Z.E.R.O. IS GOING TO BE A BLAST!!
Now, what have we learned?
Numbuh 5 has a psychic connection to ice cream---POSSIBLY INDUCED BY HER TASTING THE FOURTH FLAVOR IN OPERATION F.L.A.V.O.R.!!!!! Numbuh 3 is practicing a type of Vulcan nerve pinch The KND has been in operation AT LEAST since 1800... ...meaning that the organisation has renewed itself AT LEAST 25 times... ...meaning that some fanfics that have Hoagie's dad, as well as Kuki's parents as KND operatives are within the established canon... The KND originally only had boys. Father is human, or quasi-human, at least, if he's mortal and has ancestors. This is the first time Hoagie has removed his cap and glasses VOLUNTARILY. He won't remove them to go swimming, or even to go to sleep. The DCFDTL have separate birthdays throughout the year, but they all seem to celebrate all five of them even though it's only one of them that was actually born that way. Father mentions his great-grandmother, meaning that at some point, there MUST HAVE BEEN a Mother, similar to Father, if you look closely at the paintings of the Triplets. Nigel's report on A.R.C.H.I.V.E. has been OFFICIALLY debunked and is not to be considered canon, like Mr. Warburton warned us before. The KND originally had their headquarters somewhere on Earth. Fanny is capable of romance, despite rumors to the contrary New canon numbuhs! Numbuh 35! Also, the first time a kid is hit DIRECTLY by Father's fireblasts. And obviously, Mr. Warburton is a HUGE Star Wars fan.
Lastly, I think that 86 fell for 19th Century because, despite his sexism, he went out of his way to PROTECT her. Modern KND operatives work on the basis of equality, meaning that girls would also protect boys as much as they would the other way, as much as they would protect others of the same gender as well. Machismo and sexism were defeated when equality came along, but some romanticism was lost as well. Fanny caught a glimpse of that.
And when they kissed, that was the SECOND time I actually said something at the TV (well, computer monitor):
"GOOD....LORD...."
The Star Wars references....they're just too many to comment on, but they were all hilarious. Even the Star Trek throwback with Kuki's "nerve pinch" was a hoot!
Mr. Warburton, we love you!!!
Sheesh, how many fanfics has this ep alone just de-canonised??
Wally got the cake! Wally got the cake!!
And now, stay tuned for.....
Operation D.A.D.D.Y./Operation R.E.C.R.U.I.T.
¡Zacatepóngolas!
Until next time, remember:

THE
J.A.M. (a.k.a. Numbuh i: "Just because I'm imaginary doesn't mean I don't exist")
Good evening.

Wally certainly did get that cake. (Wally, please save me a piece, mate.) CAKED-FIVE is the best CAKED episode ever.
Bring on Operations DADDY and RECRUIT and the rest of season five, including a Kuki special (HOME/HOT-STUFF) and a Mushi episode (SPANKENSTINE).

Oh, I have a question. It's about Kuki's ....ehrr. When she put her hand on the shoulder of the ice-cream man, what happened? It sounded like she wanted to do something to him.... I don't really get it.

I don't really get it. According to The JAM and Numbuh 0xFF, she was trying to do something similar to the "Vulcan Nerve Pinch" from Star Trek... I'm guessing that it's some sort of attack thing... (But how should I know? I've never watched Star Trek in my life....)

(But how should I know? I've never watched Star Trek in my life....) I will go out on a limb and say I hated the original Star Trek with a passion. So you're not missing much. *ducks for cover*

*There is the unmistakeable humming sound of a Type VII phaser rifle set to 'Extra Crispy'*
FF (adopts a pronounced southern accent): Now listen here, folks, I'm a gonna say it like it is: You mess around with Star Trek and y'all are gonne be facin' some serious con-see-quences possibly involving nuke-u-lar weaponry. Got that?
;D
Seriously, please leave my precious Star Trek alone. As for Kuki's new move here's how it is:
It the original series an early script asked for Mr Spock to bash an enemy with a gun to render him unconscious. Leonard Nimoy felt such an action would compromise the established character of Vulcans[1] and invented the maneuver which (as you might have noticed) consists of pinching the base of the victim's neck with all four fingers opposing the thumb. This renders the said victim unconscious (there are numerous explanations for this, in-canon and out, but two of the most comon ones have either something to do with Vulcan telepathy are the nerve clusters which do in fact exist there). There is a joke in TOS (The Original Series) about how Spock always tried to teach it to Kirk and failed which may have prompted the reference in CAKED-FIVE, or it could have been just another ST reference in KND (there is a very large number of those[2]).
Also you might care to know that Vulcan Nerve Pinch is comon computer slang for pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL.
[1] Who are supposed to have perfect control of emotions, abhor excessive violence and worship logic. [2] Op. SATURN is a direct spoof of the first ST movie. Also characters often use snatches of ST terminology (Warp factors and so on). And finally the leader of Sector V is bald, speaks with a pronounced british accent, wears red and is both a born leader and a master tactician which obviously has nothing to do with the fact that the captain of Enterprise-D/E is bald, speaks with a pronounced british accent, wears red and is both a born leader and a master tactician. This plus all those Star Wars references force me to believe that Mr. W is something of an SF fan.

Y'know, even though I just trashed the original ST, I used to watch a bit of Next Generation with my then Trekkie boyfriend...and I kinda liked it.
I bet not too many people got what the heck Nigel's Halloween costume from TRICKY was. He was a Borg! Guess hanging around with a Trekkie did some good later on.
;D
We now return you to the CAKED-FIVE discussion.
