88: 67, would you kindly explain what's happening here? And why we need ALL the KND operatives.

(I've played through the storyline mode of Starcraft 2 and I'm getting ideas for this RPG. The backstory of Starcraft 2 reminds me of the backstory of this show.)
Numbuh 67: A higher power has called upon us to defeat this great evil and it's going to take all of us!

(In the game, a race called the Xel'Naga create both the Protoss and the Zerg. There is an evil being called the Fallen One, who is probably an evil Xel'Naga, trying to corrupt everything. It reminds me of the evil adult part of the storyline.)
Numbuh 67: Yes, we obey the higher power. It's trying to commune with us.

All the Kids Next Door operatives fall into a trance-like state and they see a white, blinding light.
Higher Power: Channel your childhood memories into the sword.

88: *images flash past the other members. One is of a young girl building a fort. Another is one of the girl reading. The final images are that of a terrifying adult, and a crying, scared girl. * a/n: Will that be okay for memories? or do you have something different in mind?

The sword kills Forefather, but it actually makes things worse. Darkness starts seeping through the wound.
Forefather: YOU CAN'T JUST KILL ME. I AM A HARBINGER OF DARKNESS!
Darkness starts gushing out his wound and covering everything.
Forefather: YOUR LIGHT IS EXPENDED. IT IS FINISHED.
Forefather explodes and the earth is covered in darkness.
