There could be this episode where Wally sings Beatles song to win Abby, or something. After all, his last name is Beatles.

You don't need to go to Canada. Just Wait a sec.
Well, let's see what this episode is. If it's a 3/4 episode. Well let's just say, it gonna be a pretty sight.

Okay, so I've seen L.O.V.E. twice now (7:30 and 9:30 on Cartoon Fridays), and this episode made my soul grin to the point it looked like one of the Joker's victims. As a Thespian, however, the episode gave me dectuple the pleasure because of the school play element. Lots of squealing coming from my room. I posively screamed bloody murder when Hoagie said, "When you're a jet, you're a jet." I truly thought I had just died and gone to heaven. Anyway, highlights:
Kuki really is a good actress, I thought. Good showtune voice. I always thought she'd be the one to get involved in drama. I know the other kids were in the play too, but she definitely had the bigger role.
Speaking of the other kids, their costumes were out of this world awesome. I wish our costume closet had stuff as cool as that. Gang-war Hoagie made me so happy! Much as I hate to admit it, their set, and all other tech aspects apparently, kicks the crap out of anything we could ever hope to accomplish. Those kids are much better dancers than ours too.
So, anyway, the thing with the Delightful Children as the lead still confuses me. What director could be that stupid, even if he was being bribed or blackmailed, and how could the KND not see through it? That was one of the big problems I had with the episode: the exposition wasn't quite up to scratch. The episode seemed short too, like it didn't use the full time slot alotted to it.
Well, I know there are many people who are quite sick of 34, but I thought there was a lot of cute fluff in this episode, mostly at the end. I was happy to see them heading off to a cast party (most fun evah!), and then the scene where Kuki really wanted to do her big song. I thought it was really nice of Wally to offer, but I really can't blame him for throwing in the towel that early on: that's not a musical number, that's a bunch of nonsense words with maybe a real word or two thrown in to rhyme with them. The fact was that he made the offer, and that's what made me happy (even if it was an obcious scene that everyone should have known was coming right from the beginning).
Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. My thespian bias makes me excited, and I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, but it left much to be desired, as I've mentioned above (lack of exposition, seemed too short, etc.), and I basically thought the clicheness of the last scene detracted from it. I personally think it might have been an appeasement tactic to "calm" the 34 obsessors. However, there were many redeeming qualities, enough to bring it to the "average" level.

The episode seemed short too, like it didn't use the full time slot alotted to it. if you look really closely in the beginning when the lights went on and in the background a sign said kandie store, you'll notice it was spelled like this: Ka NDie. meaning that the knd was obviously suspicious of the delightful children from the start. when you think about it, they were also prepared for the moment. i.e. numbuh 2's jetpack and the L.I.G.H.T.F.I.T.E.S. in other words, 'why would the delightful children be in the school play?' is what the knd were thinking.

Eh... LOVE was okay. I love their outfits. They should keep them (barring Numbuh 1's sunglasses). Kuki kissing the DC was weird, the battle was short, the whole "dancing to avoid laser blasts" just didn't seem right and Numbuh 4's confession ended quite weirdly ("what are my parents doing here?").
But on the bright side, I loved the songs, especially Wally and Kuki's duet in the end. "We're just the cutesy-wootsiest pair." So true^^ It was definately 3/4 centered, the latest 3/4 eppie since Hospital. However, it wasn't all that I expected (like Maurice was, KND is starting to drain from me. Sadly, I'm not going to keep my hopes up for Dodgeball, even if it is a Joey/Wally eppie))
7/10

LOVE was alright for me. It seemed kind of short because the battle scene immediately came right away. Numbuh Two's quote, "When you're a jet, you're a jet" was from a West Side Story song, "Jet Song".
I also loved seeing Numbuh Four "sing". That made me laugh everytime I heard it or saw it. 8/10.

I really liked this epidsode. Although it was on the short side, it had its moments. I found myself extremely fond of Numbuhs One, Two, and Five's characters. The choreography was just too cute. . . a respectful homeage to West Side Story, maybe? Speaking of which: Numbuh Two's quote, "When you're a jet, you're a jet" was from a West Side Story song, "Jet Song". Yep yep yep The 3/4 at the end was kinda predictable, and I was grateful that Numbuh Four finally walked off stage 8.5/10
