When it comes to the "Star Wars" references in various episodes like this one and "Operation: ELECTIONS", I don't mind them at all. I've seen other kids cartoons do these parodies like "Family Guy" spoofing "Star Wars" or "Simpsons" spoofing "Harry Potter".
