Oh? Well, I should have a very, very interesting couple of days ahead of me. If Allie, Dreamer, and Numbuh 220 are speculating about Nigel and Rachel's confrontation with ex[/b][/u]-President Jimmy, then leave it to me to concentrate on... Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's self-introduction to the rest of America tonight. Nigel and Rachel are leaders within the Kids Next Door, and both of them seem perfectly content to let Wally and Kuki receive the vast majority of romantic speculation among their comrades while those KND commanders research whatever new topics of interest arise for kids to think about. I should enjoy this special presidential convention one-shot on my part.

I'm already freaked-out for tomorrow because of dang downpours and erm... warm and cold air mixed together *coughtornadosarea,Ithinkcough*. <.<; God, if you're there... please, please protect Fairfield. Like my grandfather said years ago, tornados can't get us because Fairfield lives on a hill. Yet, after he died, a tornado came to our town (yet... barely. <.<) and hit a couple of 'trailer-houses'... luckily a friend of mine who lived in one of them wasn't hurt. I think I'm better talking about this and getting it out. :3 I'm gonna go work on my World History. Maybe it'll take my mind off of the whole nervous, scared thing.. yeah. I have a tornado-phobia. I don't like them. I don't want them to rip through my town, and having ANY of my family or friends in the hospital. ...Luckily we'll be having some T-showers tomorrow. :3 Ah...

Great. More tornadoes for you, lead Courting Commander? I'm getting fed up with all this weather turmoil, and I'm also thinking of Hanna(h), Ike, and Josephine in the Atlantic Ocean, if my memory serves me correctly. My thoughts and prayers will be with you so that you can weather this latest round of storms where you live. Perhaps typing a special Nigel/Rachel thunderstorm one-shot will help you feel better. That is, Rachel might be visiting Nigel at the Sector V treehouse, but suddenly, there's a thunderstorm approaching, so the two Kids Next Door commanders snuggle up next to each other, thus feeling safe and warm. Romantic fluff for Nigel and Rachel during such chaos in the weather? It might help them get closer to each other, so why not?

Well, at least my town will be getting some rain. I haven't had it since.. well, three weeks! But I'm getting tired of so many hurricanes and tornados striking around the coasts and such. >.< Since Gustav hit, there had been 34 sightings of tornados all over poor Louisana and now into very-low south Missisippi. I feel bad for so many people getting all of that damage. That's the only thing I hate about weather. Bad storms and lots of damage. I just want it all to stop... But thank you very much for the suggestion, Angel! I'll try that.  Writing oneshots do make me feel better, and fanart. And thank you for the prayers. I will pray for you, too. ^^ *huggles* |

Very fortunately for me, the weather where I live is clear, if at the moment, I also see hints that the sun might be starting to set. I will thank you for your prayers, though, Allie, as this Courting Commander ponders precisely where to proceed during the rest of this week. A certain real-life female leader I have to come to admire since last Friday will -- or should -- be speaking, oh, about two hours and 30 minutes from now, one of several inspirations for the general outline of my special Nigel/Rachel presidential convention one-shot... which might leave me to simply be quiet and go for it as enthusiastically as I can. There might be other real-life villains out there that I'll have these two Kids Next Door commanders research and their friends confront in the future, such as North Korea, but for now, let the adventures of Nigel Uno, Rachel McKenzie, and the Kids Next Door at the 2008 Democratic and Republican National Conventions unfold within my mind -- and onto my regular computer's word processor.

Well. I should opine that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's speech worked out pretty nicely for her. I might have quite the story to think through tonight and tomorrow. I've been wondering about possible timing for my latest story idea, and should I decide to think through it much more thoroughly, then have it ready to post somewhere around, say, Friday, my special Kids Next Door presidential convention one-shot will be my first fanfiction idea of a new year for me on this forum. This Courting Commander, Sweet Yo-Yo Soldier, Panda Warrior, Yelling Trooper, Samurai, Soda Junkie, Popcorn Protector, and political junkie finds himself at an excellent juncture of thought, or so he concludes. There might be a few small moments between some of my favorite Kids Next Door couples, including this one. Overall, that one-shot idea should be fun to think through and type.

(clapping steadily) Excellent thunderstorm one-shot, lead Courting Commander, a glimmer of hope for a better future between Nigel and Rachel in the middle of tornadic darkness. Perhaps this time around, under my imagination's guidance, the mood between these two Kids Next Door commanders will be cautious optimism, should they conclude that Baldomero Santiago and Catherine Baylene seek to defend freedom itself from a threat as genuinely existential as the Sacred Strugglers. Might there be a couple of romantically friendly moments between Nigel and Rachel, not to mention some of my other favorite Codename: Kids Next Door couples? Let us wait and see, even if I feel silently exhilarated after Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's home run last night.

Bingo. Now that I've transferred what I managed to start typing of my new story idea onto my laptop, I can type it out onto my word processor as continuously as I can. It should be an excellent transition into a new year for this Courting Commander... perhaps with a few Panda Warrior and Samurai moments in the process. Stay tuned.

After that, tomorrow, I'll be doing a new art-trade with Numbuh 712. I'll be drawing her GKND character, Nebulos sleeping on Zinc's head. *aww! ^-^* She asked for it, and I'm gonna draw it for her---even if it takes all weekend, I'm not gonna give it up! ... Somehow, I doubt that he anticipated how Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie's adventures would proceed under the guidance of the imagination of, well, yours truly. No doubt you and lillyfan321 have favored romantic fluff between these two Kids Next Door commanders, Allie, and I've enjoyed your thoughts so far this past year, just as I should enjoy your thoughts about this couple in this new year for C7Angelocas12 on the Codename: Kids Next Door Fan Forum. After the home run of Alaska Governor Catherine Baylene, er, Sarah Palin last night, it's up to Senator Baldomero Santiago, er, John McCain to, well, simply be himself and provide the necessary leadership during these next two months so that he can become the 44th President of America. As I enjoyed typing those mock John McCain campaign ads supporting Wally Beetles and Kuki Sanban and then Nigel Uno and Rachel McKenzie as a couples exactly six months ago today, I will enjoy thinking through Palin and McCain's words as they -- and the 2008 Democratic and Republican National Conventions, as a duo of larger events, so to speak -- inspire this Courting Commander, Sweet Yo-Yo Soldier, and Panda Warrior for tonight and tomorrow. As I also begin sensing a possible 15th Courting Commanders thread during this month, I might have even greater inspiration before me. Festive, yet also serious? My special Kids Next Door presidential convention one-shot might have a few moments between Nigel and Rachel, Wally and Kuki, Hoagie and Abby, and even Lee and Sonia... as these eight Kids Next Door think for themselves about what Santiago and Baylene believe about freedom.
