Chapter One- TAG... You're IT!!!
“Cynder, ma’am! Can you teach me to shadow-flare?”
“Ms. Cynder! Amber hit Blaze with her tail! Tell her to stop, now!”
“Hey, OW! Earth to Cynder! Leo iced my necklace!”
“Cynder!”
“Cynder!”
“CYNDER!!!”
“SHUT-UP! Everyone, please!” Cynder screamed at the top of her lungs, shaking her head around forcefully. All the small dragons and creatures remained quiet, surrounding the black she-dragon. “I want everyone into the temple immediately! This calls for an urgent meeting ASANOW!!!”
Cynder was chosen head of the ‘FCoR’, aka Freedom Creatures of the Realms. She worked hard, was stressed at times, and busily around small creatures helping them in need from nasty groups of nasty-villains and baddies.
There were dragons and other creatures in small groups of five or six as a team, fighting off evil, adult creatures from picking on small, defenseless other creatures in the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds—also the Seasonal Fairy Realms.
Now Cynder was steaming mad! She couldn’t take the heat any longer! It was time… for a game of TAG.
(LOGO)The meeting was set in the homeland of the Artisans, in the castle nearby the hill that overlooked the fields, waterfalls, and the mazes that led to Dark Hollow.
“I wonder what she called everyone for.” wondered Ember, tilting her head. She was a small, pink-dragoness that was very girly and flirtingly. Sapphire-sparkly blue eyes and wore a heart-necklace around her neck.
“I don’t know. But it must be something important.” said Flame. He was a young, red-orange dragon who was adventurous like Spyro and the others in the sector.
The legendary-purple dragon was taking interest into the conversation, and was wondering himself what Cynder was going to say.
“Quiet down, guys.” He commanded, looking at them. “Cynder’s going to be discussing the situation now.”
Hunter and Bianca were quiet, listening to the black she-dragon speak.
“Freedom Creatures of the Realms,” started Cynder, clearing her throat, “I have bad news. My time has come… to an end of leading this organization. Further more, I—”
“OH! OOOH! OOH OH OHHH!” Flame urged, jumping up and down, flapping his wings. “Cynder, heya Cynder! Up here! I need to ask ya something!”
“Yes… Flame?” Cynder said, narrowing her eyes.
“Can I go to the bathroom, please?” asked Flame.
“Can’t it wait? I’m kinda in the middle of something important here..” Cynder said, tapping her claws on the floor.
“But I really, really, really need to go to the—”
“OKAY! JUST GO ALREADY!!!” Cynder steamed, losing her temper.
“YES!!! Excuse me, sorry! Sorry, excuse me! Wha—Whoa!” Flame made his way out of the crowd of younger dragons and creatures, falling off of the bleachers. “… I’m okay!” he assured.
“As I was trying to say…” Cynder started again, “Running this organization is a tough, hard-working job. It’s time for me to let go of it, letting another person take my place.”
Creatures around gasped, whispering among themselves.
“I’m sorry. I’m stressed, I’m screaming, I can’t take it anymore. My time is up, and there will be a new head to lead the FCoR.” Cynder apologized, walking on four-legs over to Elora, the faun. “I only need to say one thing,” she placed a claw on Elora’s hand.
“Tag, you’re IT!” Cynder took off, flapping her wings and ‘whooshed’ right out of the castle. Other creatures made a break for it.
“I’m… it?” said Elora, blinking. “Oh, no, no, NO! I can’t be! I’ve worked my butt off of Avalar long enough because of Ripto’s damage! There is no way in heck that I’ll be i—”
Suddenly she heard happy whistling, and saw that a red-orange colored dragon had returned from the bathroom! Flame.
“Hey, where’d everybody go?” he asked himself, looking around.
Elora ran over, slapped him on the back making him fall and screamed, “TAG! You’re IT!”
“HEY!” screamed Flame, standing back up on his legs. He watched the faun run off, out of the castle. “You get back here right now!” With that, he charged after her.
A few moments later, Cynder was hiding in a secret spot behind the waterfalls by the ‘Sunny Flight’ portal. She saw young dragons and other small creatures running about in the hills, screaming their heads off, in all sorts of directions.
“Oh.. phew.” She breathed, relieved—but immediately gasped loudly seeing a paw reach out to her. “Ah!” Cynder jumped back in fright.
“Relax!” said Spyro, holding up both paws in defense, and stood back on all four. “It’s just me.”
“Oh, sorry Spyro.. I thought you might be it.” said Cynder, taking a seat on the stone. She swished her tail back and forth into the water.
“Yeah… wouldn’t want to be that, would we?” Spyro said, joining her. “What’s up, Cynder? Why don’t you want to be the leader anymore? I thought it was fun for you!”
“Not anymore. It isn’t fun being the ‘leader’ anymore, Spyro.” said Cynder, sighing. “All this leading, screaming, ordering around… it just isn’t me. It isn’t who I am.”
“You were a dark, adult she-dragon that was a pawn for the Dark Master.” said Spyro. He blushed lightly, thinking about her transformation. “To me, you looked like a leading woman who thrashed any creature that got into your way.”
“But I didn’t want to be that way, Spyro… It was years ago. And finally we defeated Malefor and restored peace everywhere. Well, most of it.” said Cynder. Spyro smiled, laying a paw on hers.
“But you’ve done good. You’re a heroine, Cynder. And that’s why I admire your leadership with these dragons and creatures all around the Dragons Realms and other kingdoms. I’m sure the Guardians are very proud on what you’ve done. Keeping peace.”
Cynder blushed with pleasure. “Thanks, Spyro.. but. I think I’m done.” She reached out to place her other paw upon his, but he slipped away before she could!
“I wouldn’t want you to touch me. After all, I’m it.” He said clearly, smiling a wide, teeth-sparkly grin. The black she-dragon gasped, taken aback. Spyro laughed quietly, standing up and walked off.
“But I’m sure you’ll do the right thing. Good luck, Cynder.” He said, and flew away.
“He’s it! He’s IT!” somebody screamed, as Spyro chased after them.
Cynder sadly looked down at her reflection, heaving a sigh.

Ember was now it, chasing Blink the Mole around the Magic Crafters world.
“I’m it, I’m it, and I’M IT!” she said in a sing-song voice. Suddenly, her eyes were flaming sapphires!
“GONNA GET YOU, BLINK!”
Blink huffed and puffed, slowing down. He suddenly was at a dead end!
“Aw, man!” he cried, “If only there was a place to dig ‘round here.”
“Oooh, Bllliiiinnnkkk!” said Ember, bashing her eyelashes cutely at him. Blink lightly twitched his eyes. “Guess who’s gonna be it?”
“Uhh… Moneybags?” he asked, sweat dropping.
Bingo!
“YES!” Ember screamed with excitement, charging off to find Moneybags.
The young mole fell backwards, sighing with relief. . .

Cynder was in Avalar, another part of the giant world of creatures. She was in the portal of Cloud Temples, hiding behind a nearby tree. Then, she flew lightly to the next, hiding behind it as well.
“Fodder for your thoughts?” a voice broke the silence.
“AHHH!” Cynder screamed, jumping into the air. She looked around, seeing Spyro, the purple dragon was in another spot by the small tree. He was lying on the ground, nawing at a sheep.
“I’m sorry to startle you, Cynder…” he apologized. “And don’t worry; I’m not ‘it’ anymore. Don’t you want to be?”
“No, not anymore.” She said, taking a small bite out of the sheep. “Like I said, it’s too much, Spyro… But thank you for the sheep.”
Spyro smiled weakly at his best friend. “Well.. if you don’t want to be. There is still time, you know.”
“I know.” She said, looking up at him. “I’m sorry, Spyro.”
“It’s okay, Cynder. It’s okay…”
The two together looked up at the sunset that was in the horizon, seeing early stars pop out into the sky.

Meanwhile, in the Dream Weavers world, Hunter was carrying a light gem and hurrying to the silver canon at a high platform in the middle of the homeworld.
“With this light gem,” he said to himself, “I’ll whack it into the canon, light it, and boom! The next tagged’ target it will be the next commander of the Freedom Creatures! Ha, am I a genius or what?”
“A self-proclaimed genius. But not enough to fool me, Hunter!” said a voice.
“Wha!?”
Bianca the rabbit appeared, in her red cape and outfit. Her smile was gentle enough to cast her boyfriend under a spell. “Guess what, Hunter?”
“What? Gonna lay a smooch on me, bunny-honey?” The cheetah chuckled, smiling.
“That’s exactly what I’ll be doing!” said Bianca. She leaned over, and gave him a gihugic kiss on the lips. When they broke away, she said, “You’re it, Hunter!”
She disappeared in thin air by a tap of a spell by magic.
“Oh poop.” said Hunter, bonking his head. “Can’t stop now! I gotta get this light gem to the canon! Then, it’ll pop out of it, and head to the nearby target! Alright!”
Suddenly, a large voice boomed from the sky.
“The-new-choson-leader-of-the-amazing-Freedom-creatures-will-end-in-ten-seconds.”
Volteer, the Guardian of Electricity was speaking into the Pool of Visions!
“NO!” Hunter cried.
“YES! Absolutely-exciting-isn’t-it?” said Volteer.
TEN.
NINE.
EIGHT.
SEVEN.
SIX.
Flame was hiding under box in Stone Hills of the Artisans home world of the Dragon Realms, where Ember was nearby hiding under a small-cross tower.
FIVE.
Agent Nine and Bently were busily shooting snowballs at each other in Frozen Altars in the Forgotten Worlds.
FOUR.
Sheila the Kangaroo was in her homeland, trying to help Billy out of the wall again. Sgt. Byrd was thinking up another way without harming the goat using the rockets for back-up if Sheila wasn’t able to get the little-stupid goat out of the wall.
THREE.
Hunter hurried to the canon, sticking the light gem into the front, and lighting the fuse. “C’mon, hurry!” he said. Suddenly, a large ‘thump’ and sound of light flapping came into the scene.
TWO.
Cynder sadly dipped her head, shaking it. Spyro watched her, with a heartbroken expression on his face.
ONE.
Boom.
The light gem slammed into the stomach of the creature who had just arrived.
“Well, well, well…” said a large, red, British-accented dragon. “Look what I am now…”
Hunter gasped, looking up at the villain who had just become the new leader of the FCoR.
Red stood proudly, his large scepter in his hand. “Looks like I have just become the new arriving big-bad leader of Freedom Creatures of the Realms!”
