...and what was up with 5's "bad experience" as a leader? i'm guessing that it has something to do with nigel being bald. (reference: operation: FOUNTAIN)

ooo that must've been dramatic and stuff...but i think the "nigel losing his hair thing" was because of something the dcfdtl did...(fountain)

Yeah there's a screenshot somewhere. I haven't seen FERAL, but it sounds like they were talking about the mission where the Delightful Children made Numbuh One bald.

I'm not sure if this is the place for this, but I have a theory about this. It covers Nigel losing his hair, Number Five giving up her command, and her intense rivalry with Cree.
Ok go back three years. Abby and Cree, as 5 and 11 are serving under Maurice. Mauriece gives up his team leader position for some reason. Maybe to focus on the search for Chicken Pox island. Anyway Maurice's former sector, Sector V needs a new leader.
Cree is second in command, she's older and more experienced than the other agents on the team. She has every reason to believe that she'll be Sector V's new leader. But something happens, and she gets passed over. The leadership is given to Abby, instead. Meanwhile, a new agent, a british boy with a head of wild brown hair, joins the team.
Cree puts up a good face, and does the best she can. But, secretly, Abby getting the leadership over her, stings deep. Cree is getting older, her thirteenth birthday is getting closer. Between this, and being denighed what she believes is her right, Cree Lincoln starts to think about her options.
Somewhere along the long, Cree decides to get even with her sister. She quietly contacts Father, and a plan is formed. Cree comes to her sister with some story, maybe some kids being held captive at the mansion. Five leads a mission to the mansion, with Cree, Nigel, and the rest of her team.
Cree convinces Abby to split up. I'm not sure where Cree went, probably into the mansion. But Nigel goes in, and Abby stays outside, as backup. She probably has another team member with her. This team member might smell a rat. Might be trying to convince Abbey to go in. But no, Abbey trusts her sister, so stays put.
Then a distress signal comes. Abbey goes in, and only then does she realize they've been lead into a trap, by Cree. But by then Cree is long gong. Abbey manages to get her team out, but not before Nigel pays the price, by losing his hair, for good.
Abbey is so distraught over this, taht she gives up her leadership position, maybe even wants to quit. But Nigel talks her out of this. A new Sector V is formed. But Abbey, no longer trusting her own judgement refuses to serve as leader again. Nigel takes the leadership role, with Abbey taking a backseat as second in command. Kuki, Walley and Hoagie come in, and the fight agaisnt adults goes on.
But, there is one change. The Lincoln sisters, formerly the best of friends, develope a rivalry with each other. A rivalry, that runs long, and deep.
Who knows, Number One may even look up to Number Five as a role model for his leadership. Although she has never really been able to get him to relax, and take it easy.

Good theory, but in Operation: FOUNTAIN, they say that Numbuh One lost his hair because Numbuh Five refused to save him for some reason.

Maybe 5 didn't know Nigel when he was hairy.

The only problem with that theory is Cree WAS Sector V's leader. She said so herself in MAURICE's flashback part.
Did each KND join around their 7th birthday? That would explain Abby being the only current Sector V operative on that early mission.

i'm guessing that the knd joined as a cadet around the age of 7 and would be official close to their 8th b-day.
but i like that theory you have MaxJ1800. it would explain alot of things but like the others said, cree was the leader of sector v before nigel joined the team.

Numbuh 5's actual quote from FOUNTAIN is :Because the last time Numbuh 5 didn't help someone kidnapped by the delightful children they did something she can't ever forgive! So my guess is something along the lines of MaxJ1800's theory, but that Abby tries to help Nigel but is held back, most likely by Cree.
also I have one question, I haven't seen this episode yet, but is Nigel like possessed or something because I can't picture him running around and kissing everyone. Lizzie is not so hard to see but Hoagums?
