Okay, people, Fill out the fourm on the front page instead of listing just one person for one award. Make it easier on me, because one person for one award can get pretty tiring to look at.
Oh, and I'm thinking that this year in order for someone to get on the ballot, they have to be nominated at least 3 times, by different people.

I can understand the scrapping of the best avatar, sig, and obscure shipper awards, but as a member of this forum's roleplay community, I believe that the roleplay award should be reinstated into this year's awards. Afterall, the roleplay section does get quite a bit of action each day and it is one of the main reasons that I enjoy this forum so much. Anyone else agree?

Sides, me and Viv rawks as fourm couple. =) The roleplay one is now not on, because well, It's not really active anymore, and it was voted upon to be off, so off it shall be. Besides, ages ago, the Roleplay section was extremely busy. It would have like, 3 pages updated in one day.(3 section pages) It's not really that active anymore. |

It’s hard to choose just one for each. There are some fantastic members and staff members, diehard fans, talented artists and writers, and so on. So, I feel pretty terrible deciding on just one.

We decided to scrap roleplaying because, like Comsie said, it wasn't as active as it's been in previous years. No slam on roleplayers. Some of the other categories, like best avatar, etc. got redundant, so we also decided to scrap those. Biggest spammer? Sheesh, if we give the award to the one who *I* think would win, he'd come back, like a dormant virus, and spam up the place again. No fun...no thanks! Guy doesn't need free advertising.  |

Alright, I get the picture about the RP award. Also, I love your example about the spammer award, MHG, because it's so true. Why would you want to encourage spamming by offering an award for it? We definitely DON'T want to encourage Fluffles (though numerous accounts of his have been banned and he hasn't been on in a while) or Mayrock (she also left and her accounts were banned, after she whined for the buhmillionth time that no one liked her.) |
