Uhh okay, Numbuh -7 and I have known each other for a long time. From where we are from, poping out of no where saying something random to get people's attention is not a bad thing. So no, I would not get angry if someone did that to me. And secondly, peace does mean good-bye in a slang. If you never heard of it, you just learned it today.

Okay here,let me just put down the meaning of peace:
1. The absence of war or other hostilities.
2. An agreement or a treaty to end hostilities.
3. Freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations: roommates living in peace with each other.
4. Public security and order: was arrested for disturbing the peace.
5. Inner contentment; serenity: peace of mind.
Which has anything about freezing or cruel?
