(I have to double post to bump this thread a bit. It looks like it's almost over, and it's a shame if it goes to waste.)

Everyone approaches the core and the consoles. The consoles have possibly a gazillion buttons on it, and some are flashing green, while a few others flashes blue.

Eventually, the accumulated excess energy around the source will cause the core to implode........and eventually explode, taking down most of the place here. I'll be like a time bomb.....that we don't know what time it goes off."
